Great point. It's like there are two parallel races - one to advance AI, & another to fully understand what we already have. Both will have big winners. Wonder if the bigger breakthroughs will come from new capabilities or from finally unlocking what's been sitting in front of us
It is an excellent point that even the current level of AI intelligence could serve as the foundation for years - if not a decade or more - of innovation, by finding new ways to use AI or adding scaffolding. What we could already build would be incredible.
💯 agree. The current state of the art AI will take 10+ years to filter through into traditional industries, e.g. using natural language and image capabilities. We have somewhere between 10-100x growth potential without the models even improving further.
