Amazon's AI assistant for work, Amazon Quick, is now available to everyone on macOS and Windows, with a new activity feed launching on iOS and Android. The desktop app connects to your local files, calendar, email, and the apps you already use—like Slack, Gmail, Salesforce, and Jira—so you spend less time hunting for information and more time using it.
Agents can keep working in the background even when your laptop is closed, and the activity feed surfaces only the items that need your attention. Companies like Southwest Airlines, 3M, and Mondelēz are already using Quick—with 3M sales reps saving more than five hours a week.
Investing more than $230 million in higher pay and expanded benefits for Whole Foods Market team members
Amazon is making one of the most significant investments in its more than 100,000 Whole Foods Market team members to date–more than $230 million in higher pay, expanded benefits, and new programs supporting the health, families, and futures of its U.S. team members. On September 28, every hourly store team member is getting more compensation, bringing the average store team member wage to more than $21 an hour, and their total compensation to more than $29 an hour when you include the value of their elected benefits.

Amazon has been quietly overhauling its packaging, and the numbers tell the story: in 2025, automated fulfillment machines in North America avoided 288 million plastic bags, and single-use plastic in shipments dropped from 65% to 37% in a single year.
The driving force is "extensible paper"—a stronger material that can stretch 5 to 7 percent before tearing, roughly double to triple the flexibility of standard Kraft paper—making it compatible with automated packing machines. Since 2015, Amazon has avoided 5.4 million metric tons of packaging materials in North America and Europe combined.
Amazon Leo adds 6 new Arianespace launches, expanding its launch partnership
Amazon Leo is expanding its launch partnership with Arianespace, adding six new Ariane 6 contracts and bringing its total committed launches from 18 to 24—the largest commercial contract in Arianespace history.
Arianespace has already delivered 100 Amazon Leo satellites to orbit across three missions in less than five months, including the most recent mission that deployed 36 satellites using next-generation Proteus boosters, making it the heaviest commercial payload ever launched on any rocket. The partnership also supports an estimated €2.8 billion contribution to European GDP and an average of 3,270 jobs annually through 2029.

Soy usuaria de Amazon desde hace más de 20 años. En este momento tengo un problema y nadie me lo resuelve: me están rechazando mi forma de pago cuando es una tarjeta de débito y sí tengo dinero; ya eliminé la tarjeta y la volví a dar de alta, verifiqué que todos los datos estuvieran correctos y de todos modos me rechazan esa forma de pago.
