superbly crafted visual math book from the Scientific American Library. wow!
Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2014This obscure, out-of-print book. Hmm...If you liked Edward Tufte's information design books, you will be treated to a book-length, intense visual-information fest. The book is chock full of meticulously crafted two-color illustrations accompanied by lucid text. A sense of accountability to the readers pervades it. The author, editor and illustrator are working hard to inform readers—rather than simply throwing them tidbits of cool math problems. The care given to produce such an affordably priced math-science publication was alone worth my money.
