Watched Oct 3, 2026This movie really struck a chord with me, who, over the last two years, after moving to the east coast, has partaken in gay club culture in nyc, and feels lost at this point in life, can be very self deprecating and.. not like myself very much. This is exactly the kind of movie I needed. Jordan Firstman proves himself on all fronts (I always saw it) and it’s beautiful all around on every level every aspect.

Watched May 16, 2026Kinda can’t get over how evocative this is. Knows exactly when to go big, loud, and blindingly bright and when to go tight, quiet, and ultra-intimate. Firstman is directing and starring in this like he was born to make it. I can’t think of another time where I’ve seen him so locked in and at the top of his game. Bursting with life in a way that really resonates. A character says my favorite band is their favorite band and then the film saves the needle drop from that band for the perfect moment. Burst into tears the second the song started. I loved it.
