Yes ....slipper chairs are not comfortable! I totally understand, but I fell in love with them....I may need put them in my room for now. Getting back to the space, it is small. I could probably fit a settee, and a couple of small type chairs. The pictUres are spread because I don't have enough right now to get them closer together.... I too want them closer. And yes I did straighten the crooked picture.... By the way that's my granddaughter and she's really cute.

Thank you Groveraxle! I really like those chair from crate and barrel, and I see where a solid color brings out an airy look. I wonder how much they cost.. I'll have to check.

What color is your bedding that is usually where your bedroom color scheme comes from not from what you have in the rest of the house unless you leave your bedroom open for public viewing all the time.
