    Freaking algorithms—again. : Absolving companies of wrongdoing when algorithms are involved could have a major effect on the housing market, which often relies on automation – background checks, credit scores, an applicant’s history – to decide to rent or sell folks.

    I’ve been told that they’re looking for all kinds of people to apply: housing activists, developers, renters and land owners, I could keep going. What’s ARO? It’s a city law requiring housing builders to make at least 10% of their homes in medium-to-large bldgs affordable.
