Zuni Café opened in San Francisco, California on February 15, 1979.  Zuni Café won the James Beard Foundation Award for ‘Outstanding Restaurant’ in 2003.

Reservations

We accept reservations for tables in the dining room up to one month in advance.

If your desired reservation is not available online, please call us directly at 415-552-2522 Tuesday through Sunday after 10:30 am.

All bar and outdoor tables are available to walk-in guests and are not reserved.  We offer our full menu at these tables.

We like to stuff ours with mozzarella, corn, and sage and then deep fry them. Like a fancy mozzarella stick. With onion rings and a Sweet 100 tomato salsa it’s a pretty perfect dish.Starting in late June every year Janet Brown and Marty Jacobson of @allstarorganics start selling their garlic at the @cuesa Saturday Ferry Building Farmer’s Market in San Francisco. It truly is they best tasting and best looking garlic around.We’ve been putting a fried chicken sandwich on the lunch menu for a few weeks now and it’s proven to be very very popular. The roasted chicken is getting jealous 🐓What an honor to be in such excellent company. There are many well researched cookbooks that have been published since the beginning on the century. We are so glad that Judy’s legacy lives on and continues to inspire cooks at home and in restaurants around the world.

We are located at 1658 Market Street, on the north side, between Franklin and Gough Streets.  We are within walking distance of the San Francisco Jazz Center, Opera House, Davies Symphony Hall, The Orpheum Theater, and San Francisco City Hall.  The closest BART station is Civic Center and the closest underground MUNI station is Van Ness.
