Students learn resilience by failing safely, not by being shielded from it. Our October newsletter, Skills for a Changing World, looks at how India, the UAE, Qatar, and the GCC are building critical thinking, resilience, and adaptability into everyday learning. Highlights: → India: 1M+ students from 24,706 schools took part in the 2026 Critical Thinking Championship. → Qatar: 1,974 educators joined 28 workshops on student-centred learning. → UAE: Schools are backing students through assessments, not just pushing them to perform. → GCC: Education ministers called for closer coordination and shared expertise across the region. Future-ready learning doesn’t set academic knowledge aside. It helps students apply it: investigate, collaborate, and learn from unsuccessful attempts. As our Chairman Krishna Nallamilli asks in “Go Fail”: should students get more chances to explore before making high-stakes choices? Education shouldn’t teach children how to avoid regret. It should teach them how to make it useful. We ask 16-year-olds to choose degrees and careers from a menu they’ve barely tasted. How many future engineers have engineered anything? How many students who rule out entrepreneurship have tried to sell something? Before we ask students to exploit, we should let them explore. Small experiments. Recoverable mistakes. And one question after every failure: “What do you know now that you didn’t know before?” Our founder, Krishna Deepak Nallamilli, explores this in his latest piece, Go Fail. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dnJsKPQZ #Education #Learning #DecisionMaking #FutureOfEducation

The future doesn't belong to AI, or to teachers. 🌱 It belongs to classrooms where both do what they do best. AI can personalise practice, track progress and free up time. Teachers bring what no tool can: curiosity, empathy and the spark that makes a student believe "I can do this." When the two work together, learning gets smarter and more human. 💬 What's one thing you'd want AI to take off a teacher's plate? Tell us below. 📲 Follow @criativo for more ideas on the future of learning. #Criativo #FutureOfEducation #AIinEducation #EdTech #TeachersMatter #ClassroomOfTheFuture #SmartLearning #TeachersAndAI #EducationInnovation #LearningWithAI #StudentSuccess #TeachingTech

If We Had to Invent School Today, Would We Build What We Have? Our founder, Krishna Deepak Nallamilli, was reading about first-principles thinking when a question stopped him: if schools didn't already exist, would we design them the way they look today? The idea is simple once you see it. Early flight pioneers copied birds, because the bird was the visible solution. But flight only needs lift to beat weight and thrust to beat drag. Once you frame it that way, wings, propellers and jet engines all become valid answers. The bird was one solution. It was never the principle. Some of the ideas in the piece: → Ask what education is really for: understanding the world, reasoning clearly, solving problems, collaborating, and learning for life. Nothing in that list requires a 45-minute period, a bell, or 30 same-aged students learning the same thing on the same day. Those are structures, not principles. → Grades and certificates began as proxies for learning. Over time, students learn to pass, pass to qualify, and the credential quietly becomes the goal. → Classrooms were shaped by a real constraint: one teacher can't personalise learning for 30 students at once. AI tutors and adaptive tools are starting to loosen that constraint, yet most schools digitise the old structure instead of rethinking it. → This doesn't make teachers obsolete. It may free them from broadcasting information so they can mentor, challenge, motivate and build judgement, which technology struggles to replace. → Exams test recall in isolation, while the real world rewards finding, evaluating and applying knowledge, often alongside AI. What does competence really look like? The core argument: starting from first principles doesn't mean burning down schools. Structure, peers, community and shared culture matter. It means earning our assumptions again. For every feature of school, ask: if this didn't exist, would we invent it today? Keep what passes, redesign what doesn't, and question everything in between. Education is the outcome. Schooling is just one architecture we built to achieve it. Worth a read if you work in education, ed-tech, policy, or anywhere that's deciding whether to polish an existing system or rethink it. 🔗 Full article: https://lnkd.in/dHkU4-fA #Education #FutureOfEducation #FirstPrinciples #EdTech #AI #Learning

The most useful thing AI can teach a classroom might not be a tool at all. It's judgment. Our September newsletter looks at how India, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia are responding to AI in education — not just adopting it, but deciding what should never change. A few highlights: → India is introducing AI and computational thinking into the curriculum from 2026/2027, with 91% of teachers calling for clearer guidelines on student use. → The UAE is building ethics and risk awareness directly into its AI curriculum, alongside training 22,000 teachers. → Saudi Arabia has added 50 AI-focused educational units for the new school year. The pattern is consistent: the systems getting this right are keeping teachers and human judgment at the center, not on the sidelines. As our Chairman & CTO Krishna Nallamilli put it — AI makes teachers more important, not less. Most of what we call innovation in education is reform: making the existing model better. AI tutors. Smartboards. Adaptive platforms. All real improvements. But strip away the tech, and the structure is often the same: a fixed group of same-aged students, a fixed curriculum, a fixed timetable, one exam. Rockets got cheaper for decades until reusability broke the assumption that most of the rocket had to be thrown away. Streaming didn’t offer more shows than cable; it ended the idea that entertainment arrives on someone else’s schedule. UPI didn’t make payments more convenient; it removed the friction of moving money. Each revolution eventually became boring, and we forgot the old way ever felt normal. So is education due for a better model, or a different one? Our founder, Krishna Deepak Nallamilli, explores this in his latest piece. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dB_8HusM #EducationReform #FutureOfEducation #EdTech #Innovation

Rebranding Teachers as Influencers: A New Era for Education Our founder, Krishna Nallamilli, explores a provocative idea worth sitting with: what if we stopped asking teachers to "be more engaging" and started asking why the classroom lost the attention war in the first place? Some of the ideas in the piece: → Students today are just as likely to learn a concept from a YouTuber or an AI assistant as from their teacher — not because creators know more, but because they've mastered making people want to listen. → The problem was never that teachers got less capable. The environment around them got dramatically better at capturing attention — and classrooms haven't adapted. → A shift as simple as the opening line of a lesson — a provocative question instead of "turn to Chapter Seven" — can be the difference between compliance and curiosity. → Engagement should be the hook, not the destination. Borrowing from the creator economy doesn't mean shrinking ideas into 30-second clips — it means using curiosity to lead students into depth, not away from it. → The real opportunity for ed-tech and AI isn't replacing the teacher — it's making the teacher a more powerful communicator: better analogies, sharper hooks, faster prep, more time to actually teach. The core argument: influence has always been the job. Great teachers didn't just deliver content — they made people care enough to think differently. That hasn't changed. What's changed is the competition for attention, and it's time education caught up. Worth a read if you work in education, ed-tech, teacher training, or classroom design. 🔗 Full article: https://lnkd.in/dv_NdTPk #EducationReform #FutureOfWork #AI #EdTech #TeacherTraining #Leadership #CreatorEconomy
