My husband and I love this and we have only been using this for the past month, but we wish there was a way to indicate how many days of the week you will be shopping/ cooking for. There are sometimes when we only need to cook for 5/7 days and we have to decipher which of the meals required which ingredients for the shopping. I just think it’d be better if we can choose how many days we are cooking for. Also maybe have more than 1 store option at a time. Also being able to click multiple recipes and being able to regenerate them instead of having to go into each one would be nice.
Good concept, needs work

I selected simple recipes and excluded a grill for cooking devices. My results had a grill recipe. I shuffled the recipe and it seems the shopping list added the ingredients for the new recipe but it did not seem to remove the ingredients from the previous recipe. It would help if the ingredients and/or quantities had a hyperlink back to the recipe it came from. I am hoping future updates have more crock pot and pressure cooker recipes. It sems the recipes are limited as after two shuffles of one recipe it tells me there are no more options.
Charging $10/week is psychotic

Edit: I just want to say THEY JACKED UP THE PRICE!!!!! All the reviews FROM THIS PAST SUNDAY SAID THE APP COST $7/WEEK AND NOW IT’s $10/Week. FOUL AND DISGUSTING. I wanted to use this app, but charging $10/week is psycho and wayyyyy too expensive. And the fact that that’s the only option is such an awful business model. Definitely a man who created this lol. I understand that they need to make money, but I (and I’m sure many many people) would lowk prefer ads with an free experience rather than charging $40/month which is not feasible for majority of people (sorry it’s not argue with the wall). This app is not accessible and it’s screwed up it’s kept behind a paywall. Want a good review? Create an app EVERYONE can use. Such a waste.

As great as the concept is, the app is deeply flawed and full of AI slop. The images of recipes are so obviously AI, none of the food in the images looks real or edible. On top of that, it’s $10 a week to continue using. If I’m trying to budget for meals, in what world would I want to pay $40 a month for poorly AI-generated recipes? Not to mention the bugs— I set a budget and the plan it generated was over the budget. It then told me to increase my budget to $100 for “more premium options”, and my budget was already $100.In theory, an app designed to work with your budget, consider dietary needs, and even be specific to your grocery store sounds wonderful. But this one is not the answer.
Updated app performance and fixed critical bugs.
Thank you for using Potto!
