I have been using maybe 4 generative AI bots interchangeably for over a year to help date and value my items. This app is undeniably more accurate. After 40+ scans I don’t believe it made more than 1 error in analyzing text on a tag, zipper, button, etc. when other AI bots would be talking gibberish. Gives a really useful history. I even tried to throw some curveballs in the form of rare one of a kind true vintage pieces and it did very well. The dating aspect of this app is also reliable, again, maybe 3-4 errors out of 45 or so scans. That’s much better than ChatGPT or any AI really. I wouldn’t treat the analyses as an end all be all sort of thing, but I guess I just gotta say wow, this is gonna save me a lot of time. Evaluations, I agree with others, are iffy and sometimes way off but you have to admit pricing is subjective and the app doesn’t ask for pertinent info like sizing or accurate descriptions of true condition just yet. But for now you can say there were more “errors” in pricing than the other aspects of the overall analysis. So take that part with a grain of salt, but don’t be lazy, follow up with more research and maybe prove it wrong. If you trust any AI implicitly… I mean cmon. The app is very good in many ways, more advanced than Google Lens or whatever else I’ve ever used

As a vintage reseller and thrifter, BidStitch is seriously such a helpful app. The scanning feature makes it so easy to learn more about a piece, especially when you come across something you don’t know much about.I love that it gives you the estimated value, rarity, manufacturing year, and even the backstory behind each piece. Being able to actually read the history of something you own makes vintage so much more interesting. I can already see this being super useful for resellers, thrifters, collectors, and anyone who loves vintage. I’m excited to see how much more BidStitch improves and what new features get added in the future. Definitely a 5/5 from me! 🔥

As someone trying to expand my wardrobe and find unique pieces, I appreciate that the scanner will give you a quick rundown and “price value” on any piece of clothing. Pros:- Setting up is super quick, I literally downloaded the app and scanned a random shirt I had just to see what the value may be. - The app will give you a rundown of any clothing and estimated value. - It’s a neat tool to build your “closet” and honestly encourages me to try to find more secondhand items. - The insight is quick. You don’t have to search around for the value of similar items. I know the app is still developing, so I do wish it could show some similar vintage clothing to what you scan, but maybe in another iteration. Overall, this will definitely help anyone looking to expand/already seasoned thrifters to “define” what your style is. I would give it a try if you have any interest in growing your wardrobe or stepping out of your comfort zone.

I have used multiple scanning apps in the past, the Bidstitch app blows all other apps out of the water! Not only is it free, but it’s super easy to use! Other apps I’ve had to pay for a subscription, so I’m very happy this app is free! My favorite part of the app is once you scan the item & it tells you the value, it also tells you history about the item as well, and it’s all very very accurate! Highly recommend this app, it’s changing the vintage game in the best way possible!
