Hey you beautiful minds! The mymind app is getting better, we listened to your feedback and the list is long. Lets get into it. [SMART SPACES] Save a search as a smart space. Search for something (one or multiple terms), then tap "Save smart space" in the search bar. A Smart Space automatically updates itself when new things are saved to your mind that match its conditions. [NEED HELP?] Open the Settings sidebar (left edge swipe) and you'll find a new "Need help?" button. Pick Question, Bug, Idea or Other, write to us and we reply by email. We always love to hear your feedback. [PRIVACY & ADVANCED AI] In the settings sidebar, tap "Privacy" which now has a new "Allow Advanced AI" switch. It lets us analyze your saves with more capable models hosted through Bedrock, Cloudflare and Google. Many of you asked for this to get better data on your saves and it also improves search as well as powers some of our new features. It is however totally optional. IMPROVEMENTS - The "My Collections" view now follows dark mode. - When your mind reaches your first 20 cards, Serendipity unlocks with a small celebration. - Deleting, restoring, tagging or adding many cards to a space at once is much faster. - Drag-selecting lots of cards is smoother, and long articles open faster. - type:song, type:album, type:playlist, type:color and type:bookmark now work like they do on the web. - Search suggestions no longer show "Images" twice, or suggest a type you've already picked. - Merging duplicate tags in Research Labs → Tidy Up is much faster. - An opened tweet now sits on a neutral background instead of blue. - Same Vibe no longer rebuilds its whole index each time a new card syncs. FIXES - Sharing a card directly to ChatGPT or other app on iPhone could leave the app frozen. Fixed. - On iPhone, a swipe that starts just above the search bar now scrolls your grid. - In a checklist, Return now makes a new item, even with "Return makes a new line" turned on. - Business and Repository cards were labelled "Businesse" and "Repositorie". Fixed. - Date searches are now about your own day: "today" no longer reaches into yesterday. "from march to june" keeps the right years, typed years work on every calendar, and #march is read as a tag, not a date. - "-horses cats" now leaves out only horses, not cats too. - A quoted search with punctuation, like "don't panic" or "nytimes.com", now finds what it should. Words like nytimes.co or sci-f match while you're still typing. - An article could lose its reader text after a sync. Fixed. Yay! - A card deleted while it was still uploading now stays deleted. - Cards you'd just added to or removed from a space could snap back after sync. Fixed. - Unpinning a card right after pinning it could pin it again. Fixed. - Unmarking a card as done no longer removes its "read later" tag. - Changes made on another device while you were briefly offline are now picked up when you reconnect. - Some Spotlight results showed no thumbnail. Fixed. - Instagram reels (Research Labs) now get the right video and author.

It opens the native share sheet which lets you send it to a friend or into another app, copy or download it. Photos, GIFs, videos and PDFs are shared as the original source file, and original resolution. [NEW] SIRI & SHORTCUTS: ask Siri or build a Shortcut to search your mind, save a link, text or file to mymind, or open a space for example. [NEW] MYMIND CONNECTIONS: We now have an MCP and integrations for Claude, ChatGPT or RayCast and other services. You can find info on how in the settings panel. [NEW] SERENDIPITY FROM SPACE: You can now start a Serendipity experience straight from a Space (iPhone only). Inside a space, tap the new Serendipity button at the top, and enjoy the wander! [NEW] NEW ONBOARDING: On iPad, new accounts get the new onboarding (you can re-watch it if you like by choosing "How to use mymind" in the settings panel, only on iPad). [NEW] SPOTLIGHT: (a new Research Labs feature): turn it on and your cards show up in iPhone search. Tapping a result opens the card. [NEW] The orange (+) now opens a nicer picker than before (ugly popup gone) BUGFIXES & IMPROVEMENTS — Custom app icons: Bookmarker and Student of Life plans now both unlock all the paid membership icons. — TikTok cards now show their cover image instead of a placeholder. — Songs now show their album cover pressed onto a disc visual. — The iPhone app now stays in portrait. Videos can still go full screen landscape. — Products with a transparent background are now fixed in both light and dark mode. — "Save to camera roll" and "Download Document" have moved into "Share or download". — The upload queue now tells you why something is waiting ("Up next", "Trying again at 2:30 PM", "Upload limit reached…") and what's inside (size, tags, spaces, note). — Smart spaces built on Watched, Read Later, Completed and similar now update right away. Mark a movie as watched and it leaves your "Unwatched" space. — Searching for a word now also finds notes that link to it by name. — Articles now show their publisher. — Copying an image card now copies the full original picture, and faster. — Opening an image card no longer flashes. — Tapping a tag inside a card now brings the search bar back to full size. — YouTube short links (youtu.be) ending in a slash now work. — Podcast and TV episodes no longer show an "E0" badge. — Numbers in space names are kept. — Undo is more reliable, including undoing a deleted space. — An older Same Vibe, palette or import result can no longer replace a newer one. — Sync is steadier: fixes to retries and error reporting, and nothing lands in your account after you sign out. — Fewer hangs and stutters from background work.

Today we have a little Quality of Life update for you. UPDATE — We significantly improved the search performance. Just tap into the search bar and you should notice a big improvement in responsiveness and speed. NEW — You will now see little "card type" bubbles right below the search bar after you tapped into it (as you may be used to from our web/desktop app). These are created automatically for you depending on what you saved to your mind. Now you can see all your Notes, Articles or other things you care about with a single tap. NEW — We now also have search keyword suggestions and auto-complete. Just start typing something in the search field and you'll see. We hope this makes searching for fun and effortless. Notes now summarize and tag themselves, automatically enriching your notes with deeper context and meaning. Privacy is still our #1 priority here. The notes analyzer only uses Bedrock, which gives us the strictest guarantees. The content never leaves AWS, is never logged, and is never shared with the model providers. You asked for it, we delivered. NEW: You can now save IG gallery posts to your mind and they'll display beautifully, the mymind way. Posts are automatically tagged and indexed, so you can more easily find them again via search. Once you've saved it to your mind it's your own private copy, even if the original post gets deleted. UPDATE: We refined the Serendipity experience on mobile to make it more enjoyable. It becomes more fun the longer you use mymind. NEW: PDFs (you know, that ancient file format from the late 1900s) save more nicely now in your mind. PDF cards have a distinct visual style, so you can easily spot them on the grid. PDFs are now also indexed and auto-tagged with more accuracy (better TLDR, better AI tags, better indexing), making them easier to find via search. More bug fixes and performance updates.
