I’ve played this for a couple hours and here’s been my experience. Once finished appointing my cabinet I was hit with a timer of 30 minutes before I could continue, pay $60 a year, or watch 2 ads. I experienced the same set of events twice in a row at one point (setting annual budget), and had to watch an ad about every 10 minutes. Another time, a character came in and said he “had to make that comment but was still on our side basically, but I’d never seen that guy before. I think this game uses AI heavily in its generation and that’s what’s lead to some things just not making sense.
Hi Adathul,Thank you for playing and for taking the time to write this.First of all, the storyline is being written by 4 different people and this is the biggest president simulator on the AppStore, so sometimes the team can get it wrong, sorry that it felt confusing for you!The wait after your cabinet is the game’s first pause, and you can always skip it for free by watching the ads. The subscription is optional for players who’d rather never wait or see ads. Everyone can still finish the whole story for free. The annual budget comes up once per fiscal year. If you saw the same budget screen twice in a row, that’s not how it should play, and we’d love to look into it. Please email us at hello@moreclues.com with roughly where it happened. The character you mentioned is likely one who first appears through choices on a different path, so on your path he arrived without his introduction. That’s useful feedback, and we’ll make sure he’s properly introduced whichever path you take.Since your review we’ve released several updates with new chapters, a full re-election campaign, more ways to recover a struggling presidency, and smoother pacing. We hope you’ll give the latest version another try.
