Shortening URLs helps to manage them for both large-scale projects and everyday tasks. Shorter URLs save valuable space in your spreadsheets by fitting in smaller cells. They also look better than their full-length versions. Use ShortenMyURL to shorten URLs in no time on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. And save even more time with ShortenMyURL's “Session History” feature, which shows your most recent long and shortened URLs. No account creation or paywalls. I tried hard not to post this publicly but it’s the only workable option I’m offered (“Report a Problem” required me to select a purchase, but when I tried to do so, nothing happed. And App Support takes me to your website, but there’s no way to contact you from there)In any event I can no longer paste long URLs into the Long URL field. When I placed my cursor in that field instead of getting a pop-up menu the option to paste the keyboard open up.

I used to use this all the time, especially for aesthetic reasons when sharing long links. Now I have to use tinyURL. my Internet blocks, whatever link I have shortened using this app as potential ransom or malware. thought I should let the developer know now.

Developer Response
Oh no, I’m sorry to hear that. It seems to be working fine on my devices when I connect through various means to the internet. Is this issue limited to your iPhone, and/or a specific Wi-Fi, perhaps? I’d assume that it’s an aggressive filter your ISP employs, that maybe your cellular provider and other ISPs don’t…

Simple, effective, intuitive design

I needed an app that would quickly and simply shorten my links. Other apps like Bit.ly had way too many gimmicks that I didn't use. ShortenMyUrl gives exactly what I need and I'm in and out of the app within 5 seconds. Other app designers could take a lesson from this one!

Developer Response
Thanks for the kind words! Have a great one 👊
