The B-Side is now free for everyone. Your own Discogs grades, fields, stars and folders work right in Spinstack, and What to Spin comes to your Home Screen.
Spinstack is the vinyl app that knows the actual condition of every record you own.
A vinyl collection is not a list. It is a self-portrait in twelve-inch resolution. Every record on your shelf is something you chose. Every spin is something you came back to. Every scratch has a story. The collection knows things about you that you forgot.
Spinstack gives the shelf a voice. It sees the records. It reads the grooves. It hears the spins. It remembers the nights. And it can talk back about all of it in your phone's own voice, on-device. No cloud. No servers. No compromise.
RECORD CONDITION
Grade media and sleeve on every record, see the whole collection's health, and export a free Condition Receipt or a Collection Appraisal PDF that values every graded record at its own condition. The Condition Card draws every detected scratch where it sits in the grooves, proof you can send with a listing.
Groove Vision. On iPhone Pro and iPad Pro with LiDAR, scan the playable surface in four close-up quadrants. LiDAR reads the depth of every scratch, the camera reads the texture, and the worst quadrant sets the estimate, because the needle hits every scratch. You decide the grade.
Scratch Detection. Start a Silent Session, drop the needle, and Spinstack listens through the microphone for surface scratches, mapping where they sit, track by track. On-device and opt-in.
Tap the sleeve. Stick an NFC sticker on a copy and one tap opens the Tap Card: pressing, grades, value, play history and its scratch map, instantly and offline.
ON YOUR DEVICE
Ask Your Collection. Ask your shelves anything, in the app or from Siri. It answers from your actual records, not a guess, and shows what it checked under every answer.
AI Liner Notes. Apple's on-device language model, on by default where Apple Intelligence is available, writes personalized text across nineteen surfaces, from a Vinyl DNA narrative to session recaps and your monthly Spin Report. It runs entirely on your device.
THE REST OF THE SHELF
At the record store. Partner stores carry a counter card; scan it and Spinstack's App Clip identifies any pressing in the bins, no install, no account. A wishlist hit rises out of a crate in 3D.
Crews. A private circle of up to eight collectors. One shared feed, a crate you build and vote on together, a weekly Crew Spin, and a Stamp Book of finished weeks. Invite-only, nothing public.
Spin Reports. Your month and year in vinyl, built live from your spin log around your own artwork, with a shareable card.
Wax Timeline. The story of how your collection got here, tappable down to every record.
On Apple Watch. Sessions with a countdown ring and a wrist tap to flip, stylus wear from real playtime, and complications down to Never Spun.
Scrobble to Last.fm, sell on the Marketplace, and never buy a duplicate gift with Gift Mode.

If you keep records on a shelf. If a Sunday morning sounds like a specific side B. If you have ever stood over a record-shop bin wondering what you already own, or what shape your copy is really in. Spinstack is built for you.
Records remember. We listen.
Built for collectors. Tuned by the obsessed.
I’ve tried a ton of apps for collecting and organizing my growing vinyl collection and this is by far the best I’ve tried. I was really just looking to catalog my collection and wasn’t in the market for an other features. However, I ended up loving the ability to log what I played and see a history of that. Also ended up loving the recommend albums to spin from my collection. That got me to enjoy some albums I might otherwise wouldn’t have put on or forgot about. Updated features keep rolling out, which is also awesome. For someone that wasn’t looking for a lot of features, I’m really enjoying all the bells and whistles way more than I thought I would. Highly recommend this app!
Just Fantastic

Listening to records is my favorite pastime. This app has only improved this important part of my day for me. It allows me to engage with my collection in new ways dig into crevices I forgot I had. The fact that it is a one time purchase is so refreshing and developer seems great. Get this if you love vinyl!Update: the new large update only makes it better. Fantastic developers!
Developer Response
This made my week, thank you.“Dig into crevices I forgot I had” is exactly the feeling I built Spinstack for. The rediscovery moment, that’s the whole point. Glad the analytics and What to Spin are doing what they were supposed to do.Also, thank you for circling back to update after 1.4. That kind of follow-through is rare and it doesn’t go unnoticed. More coming.Spinstack stays one-time, forever. That’s a promise. 🎶
This app grew!!!
Twenty9th XXIX
I had the opportunity to be a tester for this app from the beginning. I’ve watched it grow from the beginning. I love the b-side the most! It’s like a hang out with your friends and their records. I also love the look of the app in general. Visually amazing, is an understatement. The interface is hands down the best!
Developer Response
Thank you, and thank you for testing from the very first builds. A lot of what is in the app today got there because people like you pushed on it early, so this one means a lot."A hang out with your friends and their records" is exactly what The B-Side was meant to feel like, and it is good to hear it lands that way. Your crew just got a This Week recap and a Stamp Book in 1.4.6, so there is more to hang out around now.If anything ever feels off, the feedback button in Settings comes straight to me.
Very great UI for tracking

Love the layout of this app and how similar to Apple UI it is. I like it much better than the iOS Discogs application. I would love to see more seamless design choices like when you click into collection, the A-Z scroller doesn’t work and the boxes are slightly clunky, but otherwise great amazing for logging and viewing. Also priced very fairly. The other competitor application is wildly more money than this, and this arguably has more features aside from the seller dashboard. Great app, hope to see it continue to get updated!
Developer Response
Thank you for the five stars and the thoughtful note. You caught something we were already tracking down. The A-Z alphabet scroller is fixed in the next update. Tap a letter to jump, or press and slide your finger up and down the strip to scrub through your whole collection with a gentle haptic on every letter boundary. iOS 26 had quietly changed something underneath it, which is why it had stopped responding. On the boxes feeling slightly clunky: we recently smoothed out a few things in Collection and Wishlist. Faster scrolling on large libraries. A status line at the bottom that names exactly what you're looking at. Pull to refresh that brings back the whole library instead of dropping you to the first page. Let us know what else feels off. Thanks for spinning with us. There's more coming, including a full-screen record-spinning companion we've been calling Ambient Mode. Version 1.3 should come out early May.The Spinstack Team
Spinstack 1.5.2 puts your own Discogs grades, fields, stars and folders to work, opens The B-Side to everyone, and brings What to Spin to your Home Screen.
YOUR DISCOGS FIELDS. A record opened from Home, Search or Discover now finds your own copy, with its grades, notes and fields, instead of offering to add it again. Grade fields you've renamed or translated now read and save properly, matched by the abbreviation in brackets, such as NM or VG+. Choose which of your fields hold the grades, notes and subgenre tags, and where each of your own fields shows on a record. Tap a note or a field on a record to change it right there, without leaving the page. Rate a record in Edit Grading and your stars sit beside the community's on its page. They're Discogs's own rating, so they match discogs.com. Select records in the Collection to set their stars, grades, folder and your own fields together. Bulk Scan's Apply to All does the same.
YOUR SHELVES. After your Collection and Wishlist, Stacks now shows What to Spin, Today on the Shelf and The B-Side, all switched on. Move or hide them anytime in Customize Home. When a shelf holds more than one format, each cover says which, and a Format chip beside Never Spun shows just your vinyl or just your CDs. Group the Collection by Discogs genres, by its finer styles, or by your own Discogs folders, and Subgenre Tags can come from a drop-down field again. Record pages list every track, both sides of a single included, and only play a preview that really is that recording. Record pages list each side's matrix and runout, the barcodes and the label codes, ready to compare with your copy. Artist pages show the biography, the members, the bands a musician played in and the other names they recorded under. Records on your wishlist show their stars and your note, Highest Rated puts the most wanted first, and a scan that finds one shows its note. New Folder, Rename Folder and Delete Folder work right in the app, in the Collection, on a folder's page and in Edit Selected, so a new genre becomes a folder in one step. Searching your shelves looks at every artist on a record, not just the first, with the words in any order and accents ignored, so the performers on classical records turn up too.
DISCOVER. Friends, their spins and adds, reactions, recommendations and crews no longer need Spinstack Pro, so every collector you know can join in. What to Spin's Filter lists the formats you own: pick Vinyl, and a CD you never play stops coming up first. The widget shows the same pick as the app, with its Apple Intelligence line and the weather, and Next brings the records the app would, their lines already written. A label's catalogue number and its words now search together, and the results are ordered by what the label says, so the record in your hand comes up first more often.
AND AROUND THE APP. On tvOS 27, opening a record from the Apple TV Home Screen or from Cover Flow, or What to Spin from Discover, no longer freezes the app. On a Mac, Spinstack notices records you add on your iPhone within minutes, without being quit first, and its widget follows. Opening the app, What to Spin and Insights do far less work on a big shelf, and refreshing it from Discogs takes half the requests.
