- Drag to tag on the Mac. Drag items from Recents, All Snippets, a category or a tag view onto any tag in the sidebar to tag them. Select several and drag one to tag them all. - Add straight into a tag. Tag views now have the same + menu and Add from Clipboard button as Recents and the categories, and whatever you add there gets that tag. - Choose where Stash opens. Settings › Opening › Open to picks the first screen: Recents or All Snippets, a category, or a tag. - Tag the clipboard as you save it. The + menu, and the Mac menu bar, gain Add from Clipboard to Tag, so a paste lands already tagged.

- Search from the menu bar. On the Mac, the menu bar icon now opens with a search field. Start typing to search everything in Stash — titles, text, links, file names and tags — and click a result to copy it. Return copies the top match, Escape clears. - A shortcut to search. Give the menu bar search a keyboard shortcut in Settings › Shortcuts › Search, and find and copy anything in Stash from any app without touching the mouse.

- Add from Clipboard in the menu bar. On the Mac, the menu bar icon now has Add from Clipboard: click it to save whatever you've copied — a link, text, a photo, or a file — without opening Stash. A small confirmation tells you where it landed. - A shortcut to save. Give Add from Clipboard a keyboard shortcut in Settings › Shortcuts › Save, and stash whatever is on your clipboard from any app with one key combo. - Fixes a crash on the Mac when the floating Copied confirmation appeared.

- A new look. The green icon is now Stash's icon on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro. Prefer the original? It's still there as Classic in Settings › Appearance › App Icon on iPhone and iPad. - Settings from the window on Mac. A gear at the bottom of the sidebar opens Settings — no need to go through the menu bar icon or the Stash menu. - Badge app icon. A new setting in Settings › Recents shows how many items are waiting in Recents on the app icon. On the Mac, the count sits next to the menu bar icon when the Dock icon is hidden. With Mark Unread on, it counts unread items. Off by default. - Swipe in Recents. Swipe left on an item to delete it, or swipe right to clear it from Recents. - Ready for iPhone Duo. Stash fills the outer and inner displays edge to edge and adapts as you fold and unfold.

- Mark new items unread. A new setting in Settings › Recents lets you show new saves in bold until you tag, open, or copy them. Photos and GIFs get a small dot instead. Off by default, so nothing changes unless you turn it on. - Share sheet polish. The New Tag row now matches the size and spacing of your existing tags. - Mac fix. Choosing Settings… from the menu bar icon now opens Settings reliably when the app has no window open.

• Tap to Open - A new setting lets tapping an item open it instead of copying it: snippets open in full, links open in your browser, and photos, GIFs, and documents open in a preview. Copying stays the default, and Copy is always in each item's menu. Find it in Settings › General › Items. • Card View - See Recents, categories, tags, and search results as cards instead of a list. Use the new List/Cards switch in the toolbar. Each screen remembers your choice. • Formatted Snippets - Keep an email signature or any formatted text with its images, links, and styling intact. Copy content that has images or links and add it to Stash, or use "Paste Formatted Text" when creating a snippet. It pastes with its formatting; apps that only accept plain text get the text alone. • Keyboard Shortcuts for Items (Mac) - Give any item its own global shortcut: right-click it and choose Keyboard Shortcut…. Press the shortcut in any app to copy that item, formatting included, then paste. All your item shortcuts are listed in Settings › Shortcuts. • Icon Fix - The stripes on the Green, Midnight, Navy, Indigo, Plum, and Slate app icons now stay white in dark mode.

What's New in 1.4 - Stash keyboard on iOS 27. The category and tag row at the top of the keyboard no longer appears blurred behind a frosted band. iOS 27 started drawing a scroll edge effect over that row inside the keyboard; the keyboard now opts out of it. - Green app icon in dark mode. The Green Glass icon now uses the system's standard dark background instead of pinning its own, so it matches the other icons in dark mode.

Siri • Say "Save this to Stash" and Siri adds what's on screen: text, a link, a photo, or a document. Add "in Work" to tag it as you go. • Ask Siri about things you've stashed. Your items are searchable on your device, so Siri can answer from them and open the one you need. • "Pin this" and "move that to Travel" work on the item you're looking at. • Requires iOS 27, iPadOS 27, or macOS 27. App Icons (Thanks, Michael!) • Pick a new look for Stash under Settings › Appearance. Choose Classic or the new Glass icon in Green, Midnight, Navy, Indigo, Plum, or Slate. Each one keeps its color in Dark Mode. • Thanks to the reader who designed the Glass icon. Settings • Settings is now organized into General, Appearance, Keyboard, and Sync tabs. Photos • Long-press any photo or GIF and choose Save to Photos. It lands in your library with its original name, and GIFs stay animated. Works on multiple selections too.

Search everything • New magnifying glass in the sidebar (between + and the tag button; ⌘⇧F on Mac). • Searches every category at once: titles, snippet text, link URLs, file names, and tag names. Every word you type has to match. • Chips under the search field narrow results by category and/or tag. Filters work with or without a query. Tap the X chip to clear them. • Photos and GIFs appear as cards under the row results, and you can select, copy, tag, or delete from search like any other list. Nested tags • Long-press (or right-click) a tag in the sidebar for New Nested Tag… and Nest Under. • The tag editor has a "Nested Under" picker. • Parents show a chevron; tap it to collapse or expand. Collapsed state is remembered. • Opening a parent tag shows everything tagged with it OR any tag beneath it, and its sidebar count matches. • Deleting a parent keeps its nested tags and moves them up one level. • Nested tags appear indented in tag menus, the share sheet, the Stash keyboard, Mac keyboard-shortcut settings, and Shortcuts. Document previews • Document rows now show the first page instead of a generic icon. PDFs show immediately; other types (Pages, Word, text, Markdown, CSV, and so on) fill in shortly after import or on the next launch. Link icons • Link rows show the site's icon. Existing links fill in over the first few launches (40 per launch). Sites without an icon keep the link glyph.

Drag anything out of Stash - Drag a photo, GIF, document, snippet, or link straight out of Stash and drop it wherever it needs to go: onto the Desktop, into Finder or Files, into a Mail or Messages draft, a note, or a text field. - On Mac, files land as real files with their original names, snippets become text clippings, and links become web location files. On iPad and iPhone, drag from any list or the Photos and GIFs grids into another app. - Dragging an item across the Stash window no longer risks saving a duplicate. Tags, organized - Tag views now show snippets, links, and documents as rows, followed by Photos and GIFs as the same large previews their categories use. - A new filter button lets you choose which categories to show in a tag, in any combination. Fixes - The Add from Clipboard button no longer disappears from the toolbar when the clipboard is empty. It now stays put and tells you when there is nothing to add.

What's New in 1.1 Stash Keyboard (iPhone and iPad) • Your whole library, right in any app. Switch to the Stash keyboard to browse Recents, categories, and tags. Tap a snippet or link to insert it at the cursor. Tap a photo, GIF, or document to copy it, then paste. Turn it on in Settings › General › Keyboard › Keyboards › Stash, and allow Full Access so it can read your library. Trash • Deleted items now wait in Trash instead of disappearing. Restore anything you removed by mistake, or delete it for good. Trash empties itself after 1 week or 30 days; choose which in Settings. Fixes • Copying several items now pastes them in the order you selected them.

Sync fixes, and copying multiple items should paste them in order of selection.
