The Cities of the Eastern Roman Provinces, by A.H.M. Jones (Oxford, 1971), in 607 bookmarked and searchable pdf pages. This magnificent achievement originally was published in 1937. The second edition was revised by numerous specialists under Jones' direction.  It is a work of major importance for classicists and Byzantinists, and for those interested in the history of the period from the Roman Republic through Late Antiquity.  Attached to the document are the book's maps, and also some beautiful color maps from H.
