The "Mitteilungsblatt" was the newsletter of the "Hilfsverein Deutschsprechender Juden" ("Aide organization for German-speaking Jews") in Argentina. Around 35,000 to 40,000 Jews immigrated to Argentina between 1933 and 1945, despite the country's strong anti-Semitic sentiments and increasing discrimination against Jewish immigrants. The "Hilfsverein's" "Mitteilungsblatt" discussed the organization's efforts to provide aid to German-speaking Jewish refugees.
