About us
The Bonds Flying Roos SailGP Team established itself as a dominant force by winning three consecutive SailGP Championship titles in Seasons 1–3, and finishing runners-up in Season 2024 & Season 2025 earning a reputation as the team to beat in the F50 fleet. As one of the six founding teams of the Championship in 2019, the Bonds Flying Roos boast a world-class lineup, including Wing Trimmer Chris Draper, Flight Controller Jason Waterhouse, Grinder Sam Newton, Grinder Kinley Fowler and Strategist Tash Bryant, all led by Driver, CEO & Co-Owner Tom Slingsby. Ben Durham coaches the team alongside assistant coach & data analyst Hugo Stubler. The team is co-owned by Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds.

Not every trade hits the target. The good ones still protect the position. Looking back on Geneva, the Bonds Flying Roos opened strong, built an early lead in the final, and finished P2 after a late shift on the last leg. The bigger picture held firm.
