The interchange upgrade increased capacity from 18 to 29 bus stands, helping improve connections and support growing demand across the network. These improvements will support more reliable connections, better accessibility and a smoother journey for the thousands of Western Australians who use the interchange each day.

📢 Every voice counts – have your say to help shape the WA Play Strategy! The WA Government wants to hear your thoughts about what supports children’s play, what gets in the way, and what would help create more opportunities for children to play across WA through a statewide survey. The survey is open to everyone. Whether you work in education, planning, health, the arts, a service organisation, community group or any role that influences children’s opportunities to play, your insight is valuable. With the support of a trusted adult helping them through the process, children up to eight years of age are also encouraged to share what play means to them. Ready to have your say? Complete the survey before 11 November 2026.

The recent opening of a new BreastScreen WA clinic in South Bunbury is helping improve access to breast screening services for women across the South West. The purpose-built facility features state-of-the-art equipment, additional consulting rooms and ultrasound facilities, providing a more convenient and enhanced screening experience closer to home.
