The event was outdoors and we had refreshments, a delightful brass band, (name) playing in our yard, and warm and dedicated company, which made the evening even more lovely.<br \/>We are thankful for our members and neighbors who came to help encourage first-time and disenfranchised voters to go to the polls this year!<br \/>If you didn't get to come to this event, there is still a way to participate. We will continue to do postcards to voters on weekdays (weather allowing) from 5 to 7pm, at a table in front of our building at 53 Prospect Park West, Brooklyn, NY 11215. We hope you join us!<br \/>A few pictures of the August 2nd event can be found below:<\/p>","_et_gb_content_width":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[8,112,113],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-9668","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","category-brooklyn-ethical-blog","category-ethics-for-children-blog"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/bsec.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/9668","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/bsec.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/bsec.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/bsec.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/bsec.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=9668"}],"version-history":[{"count":5,"href":"https:\/\/bsec.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/9668\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":9826,"href":"https:\/\/bsec.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/9668\/revisions\/9826"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/bsec.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/9762"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/bsec.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=9668"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/bsec.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=9668"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/bsec.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=9668"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
