When a credential is exposed, how quickly can you find every copy and rotate it without breaking production? As platforms, automation, and AI agents take on more work, secrets can quickly spread across repositories, environment variables, CI pipelines, logs, shell history, and agent context. Every extra copy makes exposure harder to contain. Our latest blog outlines practical ways to reduce credential exposure: 🔐 Store credentials centrally and resolve them at runtime to reduce copies out of source code, configuration, and CI pipelines. ⏱️ Replace standing administrative access with just-in-time, just-enough access. 🤖 Let personal agents complete tasks without exposing passwords in prompts, logs, or memory. More tools and agents need access, but that shouldn’t mean more copies of your credentials. Secure access should fit naturally into the tools and workflows people already use. 👉Read more here: https://bit.ly/48jchYP

Last week, we opened our brand-new 1Password office in Toronto, deepening our roots where 1Password got our start. This is on the heels of opening our first office in downtown Austin; a natural home for us as the city is known for its deep technology talent base and fast-growing security community. These dedicated spaces allow us to better connect in person with you, the people and organizations tackling some of the toughest identity and access challenges today. We’re looking forward to filling them with great conversations, meaningful collaboration, and strong customer relationships. If you're a 1Password customer in Toronto or Austin, reach out to your account team - we’d love for you to visit. These offices also serve as a home base for our growing Toronto and Austin sales teams. Business development representatives and account executives will work side by side, learn from one another, and support our customers even more effectively. If you’re in Toronto or Austin and looking for your next challenge, we’re hiring. Come build with us: https://lnkd.in/dkhQN_ZK

We’re excited to announce 1Password for Agents. 🎉 Personal AI agents are moving beyond answering questions. They can plan vacations, book appointments, manage recurring bills, prepare expense reports, and operate as your virtual chief of staff. To do these jobs, they need access to your accounts. 1Password for Agents is a platform that lets one or more personal AI agents sign in and complete tasks securely on behalf of the user without seeing or storing their passwords, secrets, or credentials. When an agent reaches a sign-in form, it verifies its identity to 1Password, and requests access to the credential stored in 1Password. If the user approves the request, 1Password directly autofills the credential in the destination site so the agent can’t see or take possession of the credentials. We’re thrilled to launch the 1Password for Agents platform, building with companies Meta Muse, SpaceX Super Intelligence Grok Bot, Anthropic’s Claude AI, OpenAI, Town, Browserbase, Browser Use, Dana Intelligence, Inc., Instinct, KERNEL, Perplexity, Ramp, Tomo, and Wajo AI, with more integrations on the way. ➡️Learn more: https://bit.ly/4iA0QC0

1Password has surpassed $500 million in annual recurring revenue 🚀 The acceleration is being fueled by growing adoption of our developer and AI security tools as customers secure the AI agents and workflows they build. That momentum is taking shape in two connected acts: ▶️1Password Unified Access helps businesses govern access across people, machines, and agents ▶️1Password for Agents helps people stay in control of the personal agents acting on their behalf We’re grateful to the customers who trust us to secure access for their people, agents, and machines, and to the frontier AI labs, hyperscalers, and personal AI agent providers bringing 1Password into the workflows where agents are built, deployed, and operated. There’s a lot more ahead. Read the announcement: https://bit.ly/4zNKBHn
