History and overview

[edit]

Cybage was founded in 1995 in Pune, India, by Arun Nathani.[4] Their main services include digital product engineering, technology solutions, and industry-specific services.[5] Originally founded under the name Coverage, it began its initial operation with a team of four employees.[6] Their initial product was called CyberAge Raider.[7] It eventually lost its financial viability when another software company started providing a rival product at no cost.[8] The company changed its name to Cybage in 2000. In the mid 2000s, Cybage began expanding its operations outside of Pune.[9] Additionally, Cybage broadened its operations in Hyderabad.[10][11] At that point, the company employed 1,600 people and its revenue for the 2005–06 financial year was reported at ₹109 crore.[12] In 2005, Cybage began its operations at the Cybage Towers, near Cerebrum IT Park, in Kalyani Nagar, Pune.[13][14] In 2013 it became a SAP Partner Edge Application Development Program partner.[15] In February 2026, Cybage was among the list of 10 most profitable unlisted companies in India.[16][17]
