I'll have more to write here soon. For the time being, I just want to say I love the Wikipedia Project, and love to contribute to it. Hope to contribute more for years to come.
I'm under no obligation, of course, to explain any absence, but I also believe there's nothing against explaining either, so I'll just say it. Just like saying certain things about myself, so here we go. What happened was there was a crisis. The name for the crisis is something I coined, and it is used (at least, as of August 16) exclusively in the Household of which I am an Occupant. The crisis began on August 11, 2026, at 16:00 UTC. It's called the Mid-August Darkness. It was three prolonged Electricity Outages with two respites, the first Outage lasting 36 hours, the first respite lasting ~ 7 hours, the second Outage lasting 46 hours, the second respite lasting ~ 74 hours, and the third Outage lasting 40 hours, for a combined 203 hours. There were some troubles, such as waste of some food (luckily, not much). But among the troubles, was the inability to communicate via the Internet. Further, the battery of the Computer utilized for such communication was dying, if you will, down to 9%. Happy to report everything's back up and running. The last time I experienced anything like this was way back when I was in first grade. The Outage became the longest single prolonged Electricity Outage I experienced, clocking in at +63 hours. Hope, of course, something like this doesn't happen again. Of course, Wikipedia editing is voluntary. But I just love it and often can't wait to get back. It was tough. But here we are.
