The Barrie Sports Hall of Fame was formed in 1984 to recognize excellence in sport within the Athletes, Coaches, Officials, Teams, and Builder categories.

The Hall of Fame is a not-for-profit, charitable organization, supported by the sale of memberships, along with donations and sponsorships from companies, corporations, and service organizations in the Barrie area. The Hall has portraits of our inductees on permanent displays in the Allandale Recreation Centre. To further foster public awareness of the achievements of our sports community, we have recently expanded to add display cases at the Peggy Hill and East Bayfield Community Centres.

We invite you to continue this tradition by purchasing a $25 lifetime voting membership in the Hall. This membership allows you to nominate inductee and award candidates, attend meetings, and vote for inductees. As well, you will be permitted to vote on Hall by-laws and business initiatives.
