It is designed for complex coding, agentic, and reasoning tasks. In early testing, Gemini 4 Argon solved more tasks than previous Gemini models on every coding benchmark, with its largest gains in Copilot CLI. It also thoroughly checks its work, testing edge cases before it finishes.<\/p>\n<p>This model is billed at provider list pricing under usage-based billing. See <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.github.com\/copilot\/reference\/copilot-billing\/models-and-pricing\">Models and pricing for GitHub Copilot<\/a> for details.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"availability-in-github-copilot\" id=\"availability-in-github-copilot\" ><a class=\"heading-link\" href=\"#availability-in-github-copilot\">Availability in GitHub Copilot<span class=\"heading-hash pl-2 text-italic text-bold\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span><\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Gemini 4 Argon is available to Copilot Pro+, Max, Business, and Enterprise users. You can select the model in the model picker in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Visual Studio Code<\/li>\n<li>Visual Studio<\/li>\n<li>Copilot CLI<\/li>\n<li>GitHub Copilot coding agent<\/li>\n<li>GitHub Copilot app<\/li>\n<li>JetBrains IDEs<\/li>\n<li>Xcode<\/li>\n<li>Eclipse<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Rollout will be gradual. Check back soon if you don&rsquo;t see it yet.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"enabling-access\" id=\"enabling-access\" ><a class=\"heading-link\" href=\"#enabling-access\">Enabling access<span class=\"heading-hash pl-2 text-italic text-bold\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span><\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Copilot Enterprise and Copilot Business plan administrators can manage access to Gemini 4 Argon through the model policy in Copilot settings.
