Os lobis^[1] son grupo étnico africano que habita en Burkina Faso e Costa do Marfil. Orixinario do actual estado de Ghana, arredor do ano 1770 os lobis migraron cara ó sur até Burkina Faso e posteriormente até Costa do Marfil.^[2] Falan a lingua lobi ou "lobiri".
