We use your phone number to help protect your account by helping us confirm that it’s really you using your account, making it easier to recover your account if you lose access to your email or login details, and detecting suspicious or fraudulent activity. Using your phone number in these ways helps us strengthen security on Pinterest for you and other people. We don’t display your phone number to other Pinterest users. Your phone number can help us show you more personalized and relevant ads and recommendations, and measure how ads perform. To do this, we may match your phone number with information we get from advertising, measurement, and data partners.
