Land & Forest Rights
Protecting ancestral land, forests and the livelihoods of the communities who call them home.
ROOTED IN JHARKHAND. COMMITTED TO ITS PEOPLE.
For the rights, dignity and aspirations of Adivasis, Dalits and working communities. A movement born in 1972. A commitment that endures.

01 / OUR CORE COMMITMENTS
Four enduring commitments. One purpose: a just, inclusive and self-reliant Jharkhand.
Protecting ancestral land, forests and the livelihoods of the communities who call them home.
Equal access to learning, care and dignified work — from our villages to our cities.
Keeping our languages, traditions and the spirit of Adivasi self-governance alive.
Putting public resources to work for the people, with transparency and responsibility.
02 / OUR JOURNEY
In 1972, Binod Bihari Mahato, Shibu Soren and A. K. Roy brought together the voices of farmers, workers and Adivasi communities. Their shared demand was simple: dignity, justice and a Jharkhand of their own.
On 15 November 2000, that aspiration became a state. Today, we carry the responsibility of that movement forward.
