🌍 As Hugo Sobral highlights, Interreg’s strength lies in its ability to build lasting partnerships, creating the trust needed to turn cooperation into tangible results. 🤝 🌊 For Interreg Atlantic Area, strong and stable cooperation is essential to help Atlantic regions work together more effectively, address shared challenges, and deliver greater impact. 🚀
A quick word on the future of Interreg | Episode 3/5 Hugo Sobral explains why continuity is an asset for Interreg: it builds the trust between partners that projects need to be delivered. Changes should enhance what is specific to Interreg and not disrupt programmes. Two possible changes are discussed: simpler procedures for beneficiaries who still find them too complex and are discouraged from taking part, and a better alignment of programmes with European and national priorities. #Interreg #Simplification #FutureOfInterreg
