DEVONthink 4.4.2

DEVONtechnologies has released DEVONthink 4.4.2, adding the ability to edit BibTeX (.bib) database format files as DEVONthink sheets. The document and information manager also adds support for opening bibliographic RIS (.ris) files as editable sheets, improves indenting and outdenting list items in Markdown documents so the cursor position is preserved, addresses a problem with link colors in the syntax-colorized or WYSIWYG view of Markdown documents, fixes a bug that prevented manually changing the numbering of a numbered list, and reduces high CPU usage caused by overdue smart rules. For Pro users, this version brings updated AI models, including Mistral Large 4, Claude Haiku 5.5, GPT Sol 6.1, Gemini 4 Argon, and Google Nano Banana 2.1. The free quarterly update for Joe Kissell’s Take Control of DEVONthink 4 has also been released and is up to date with version 4.4 (including improvements to external AI features and new scripts for MailMaven). ($99 new for DEVONthink, $199 for DEVONthink Pro, and $499 for DEVONthink Server with a 15% discount for TidBITS members; free update; release notes; 101 MB; macOS 13+)
