Join the Born in Bradford Centre for Social Change at York for a webinar showcasing research from its first funded cohort. Researchers from four projects will share their research questions, approaches and emerging findings, with a particular focus on what their research could mean for Bradford, policy, services and practice. The session will also explore the role of partnerships with Born In Bradford, Bradford Council, local organisations and communities, and how these relationships have shaped and supported the research. Our findings highlight the value of a principles-based approach, and the importance of power sharing, early involvement and clear feedback loops in supporting young people's meaningful involvement in research. What a busy month it has been! The IRL Trial officially launched last month and has had amazing traction from students and many others. I'm so pleased to be a part of something so important for our young people and cannot wait to see how this research prospers. It's even more meaningful that this research is taking place in my home city, Bradford, where we experience fewer opportunities like this than others. Already, the trial has invited really insightful experiences for me; from speaking to teachers to students, there is a real buzz about the trial and I could not be happier with its impact thus far.
