Enact is coming out of stealth with a $30m pre-seed round, backed by redalpine, Notion Capital and us at firstminute capital! 🙌 This is alongside stellar angels Thomas Wolf and fellow firstminute portfolio founders Arthur Mensch and Yann LeCun. When it comes to physical AI, a mind designed after the hardware is finished inherits the hardware’s limits instead of overcoming them. The two have to be worked out together from the first decision, not bolted together at the end. That’s why Enact co-designs the brain and the body as one design problem. 🔧 As adriana vitagliano put it, "Manuel Yves Galliker straddles hardware and software with a clinical understanding of the technical and cultural considerations of innovating deeply across both" Excited to have partnered with the team since Day 1. The race is on 🚀 Brent Hoberman Spencer Crawley Min Nolan adriana vitagliano Michael Stothard Lorcan Delaney

Mural has raised $28 million in total funding, including a $15 million Series A. 🚀 We’re proud to back the team alongside Tether.io, who led the Series A, and North Island Ventures. We first backed Mural in 2022, drawn to the founders’ drive and deep understanding of the financial tools their customers needed. With licences, bank connections, compliance and payment rails brought together in one place, Mural enables platforms such as Deel and Opera to move, store and grow money for their customers. The funding will help the team expand into more markets and build the infrastructure for AI agents making payments on behalf of people and businesses. Huge congratulations to Sinclair Toffa, Chris Fernandes, and the whole Mural team - excited to be along for the ride 👏 Brent Hoberman Spencer Crawley Min Nolan adriana vitagliano Michael Stothard Lorcan Delaney https://lnkd.in/eyTqJSwv

Today marks the start of a new era at Mural. And it begins with a complete rebrand and new website. Our name has always been about durability and helping our customers build products that are here to stay. Our website branding and copy needed to keep up with that, so we rebuilt both around 3 words: (1) Devoted At the center of our new logo is the mural tile. It represents the people behind our mission of connecting everyone to the Global Financial Internet. Our customers are tiles in that mural, and as they onboard their end users, those users become part of it too. (2) Rigorous We lead with compliance at every scale. We hold ourselves to robust security standards, and we secure licenses proactively so our customers can operate across markets. (3) Foundational With AI, products can be built faster than ever, but they need a foundation that lasts. We are that base layer. Our customers' financial products are built on Mural, so we’ve updated to showcase our built-to-last and permanent-by-design approach. Mural is the compliant system of record that you build on to move, store, and grow money. See the new Mural here: muralpay.com

Honoured to announce we’ve been named Seed Fund of the Year at the GP Bullhound Allstars Awards 2026 🏆 A huge thank you to GP Bullhound, the judges and the whole Allstars team for this recognition, and for bringing together the founders, investors and teams helping European tech thrive. We’re especially grateful to the founders who choose to have us alongside them, and who give us so much to celebrate through the businesses they’re building. Thank you to our LPs for their continued trust and support, and to the whole firstminute team who show up every day, working their magic behind the scenes. 🙏 Congratulations to all this year’s winners and our fellow nominees. The first six billion internet users were humans. The next six billion will be AI agents. Lorcan Delaney, adriana vitagliano and I tried to map what happens once machines are doing the clicking. The short version: → Ecommerce infrastructure: product pages were built to persuade a human to click. Brands now have to persuade an agent instead. → Advertising: half a trillion dollars of ad spend assumes a human is looking. It has to go somewhere. → The apathy economy: the unused gym membership and the loyalty-penalty insurance renewal are in trouble. Agents don’t get bored, and they don’t mind waiting on hold. → Marketplaces: aggregators are exposed because the agent does the searching. Platforms built on trust or proprietary supply could get stronger. → Agents talking to agents: someone will build the social graph between them and decide what my agent can tell yours. → Customer support for agents: it’s now essentially free for a customer to send hundreds of emails, texts and phone calls to companies. They will need agent customer support or they will drown. → Plumbing: agents need their own identity, payments, permission, insurance, browsers and maybe even email. Chrome and Gmail weren’t built for them. → Cyber: all of these agents are going to open up billions of new vulnerabilities for companies and people. If you’re a European founder building any of this, we’d love to hear from you. michael@firstminute.capital, lorcan@firstminute.capital and adriana@firstminute.capital Spencer Crawley Brent Hoberman Nick Rogers Archie Chappel Greg Marsh Marius Meiners Yoni Rechtman Haakam Aujla Eliott Hoffenberg Hugo Danet Saad Saeed Elad Gil

A brand new look at Europe’s earliest companies - with two familiar names on London’s shortlist 👏 Cherry Ventures is launching Heartbeat, a new report exploring how European companies take shape, from incorporation to their first institutional funding. Drawing on around 10,000 companies founded in Europe since early 2025, it focuses on the very beginning of the startup journey. Alongside the report, Cherry Ventures is sharing its picks for the 10 most exciting early-stage companies in each of Europe’s key ecosystems. 🚀 And in London, that includes two teams we’re proud to back: Benford and Reimagine Robotics. Lovely to see both recognised alongside their London peers. Congratulations to the teams, and thank you to Cherry Ventures for highlighting their work as part of this new picture of Europe’s startup landscape. Our ninth annual flagship summit! This time we bought together 600+ guests at Vision Hall in King's Cross. Our co-founders, Brent and Spencer kicked off the day reflecting on the development of the European tech scene over the last few years. Key takeaway? Europe is compounding. 💪 Money is flowing into European tech. Funding is expected to reach $89bn this year, up 40% on last year. Over the last decade, the continent's private tech companies valuation has grown 10x, to around $1.7tn. Governments stepping up. Corporates finally buying from start-ups. Talent coming home. It's only going one way.🚀 We heard from an incredible range of speakers, from Sir Richard Moore (former Chief of MI6) and Niraj Shah (Co-founder and CEO of Wayfair), to Sydney Sykes (NVIDIA) and Sonya Huang (Sequoia Capital) - covering everything from the future of robotics to the developing agentic economy. Thank you to every founder, investor, and friend who made the trip and made the room buzz, and especially to Anaïs Benazet for orchestrating the day so wonderfully 🙌 Finally, a special thanks to our Summit After-hours co-host Amazon Web Services (AWS), for closing the event in style 🔥 A huge thank you to all of our speakers who made the day as special as it was: Jean-Charles Samuelian-Werve (Alan), Lior Susan (Eclipse), Suzanne Ashman (Sovereign AI), Erica Brescia (Redpoint), Marc Warner (Faculty), Matt Cohler (Benchmark), Peter Davies (Lansdowne Partners), Patrick Healy (Hellman & Friedman), Mathias Döpfner (Axel Springer), Moritz Döpfner (Döpfner Capital), Anthony Gutman (Goldman Sachs), Avantika Chilkoti (The Economist), Mikhail Lomtadze (Kaspi.kz), Gerry Ford (Caffé Nero), Matt Ocko (DCVC), Lord O'Neill of Gatley (Former UK Treasury Minister), Ted Persson (EQT Group), and Lydia Goedhuis & Niall McCann (Edge Group Conservation)

Vocca has raised a $20m Series A to help healthcare teams spend less time managing phone calls and more time caring for patients. 📞 Huge congratulations to Eliott Hoffenberg and the whole team. 👏 Vocca’s voice AI answers patient queries, books appointments and helps people prepare for consultations, working with the tools practices already use. Across more than 20 specialties, their agents are built to understand the different needs of each practice. Since its seed round last year, adoption has grown from 2,000 to more than 15,000 medical practitioners across the US and Europe. We’re proud to back Vocca alongside Norrsken VC, Heal Capital and Speedinvest. Next up: expanding into more specialties and growing its US presence.🚀 A big mission, grounded in an everyday need: helping patients get through and practices keep up.
