Computer and Network Security

Rewarding those who are committed to cyber innovation, cyber crime reduction and protecting citizens online.

About us

The National Cyber Awards was launched in 2019 as a celebration of excellence and innovation for those who are committed to cybersecurity. Launched to spotlight the outstanding achievements of professionals, businesses, and educators across private & public sectors, our awards recognise those at the forefront of safeguarding digital landscapes and enhancing security. The awards were born from a vision by industry leaders passionate about elevating the cybersecurity field. These founders recognised the need for a formal accolade that not only honours achievements but also inspires engagement with the ever-evolving challenges of cybersecurity. Our mission is clear: to identify and celebrate exceptional contributions to the field, providing a benchmark of excellence for all to aspire to. We envision a future where every innovation in cybersecurity is recognised and celebrated, encouraging continuous improvement and adoption of best practices across the globe. Thanks to our supporters the awards are free to enter, and we provide every finalist with a complimentary ticket. This approach helps us minimise barriers to entry and make participation accessible to all. Our panel of independent judges upholds the integrity of The National Cyber Awards judging process by adhering to a strict code of conduct. This code ensures a fair, transparent, and robust evaluation process. We are committed to preventing any pay-to-play practices, and maintaining the highest standards of impartiality in our awards. Join us as we honour those who drive innovation and uphold the highest standards of cybersecurity, shaping a safer digital world for all.

  • Its reflections like these that remind us why celebrating the achievements of our cyber community is so important. A lovely insight from Nasser Arif into what the National Cyber Awards means to those who have been part of it, both as winners and judges. Thank you for sharing your experience Nasser and for being part of this years awards! 🌟

National Cyber Awards 2026 Post Event Reflections: Overcoming nerves and the importance of celebrating wins Happy Sunday! It has been a few weeks since the The National Cyber Awards 2026 and I wanted to reflect on how much I loved this event and the special place it holds in my heart ❤️ Pre-Event Nerves: I feel like these awards are like the 'Oscars' of our industry... I was a judge this year and not a finalist, but I still walked into the Royal Lancaster London quite nervous. I got there earlier than expected so didn't recognise anyone just yet. (Side note: It is such a lovely hotel and the staff were super friendly...fantastic venue in my opinion) Although I knew I would be surrounded by a lot of my cyber friends throughout the evening and am a previous award winner 🏆 ....I couldn't help but feel quite nervous....as crazy as this sounds ... I did what we all do when we are nervous...look for the nearest restroom to make some final touches to the outfit... This nervous feeling did not last long....as the first person I bumped into was none other than Olu Odeniyi just before I took those mandatory mirror selfies. I had a lovely chat with Olu while we both perfected our bow ties...and any feelings of nervousness rapidly faded away. It was a great reminder about why I love my industry. We are honestly never alone. This set the tone for the rest of the evening, as more guests and more friends arrived. I very quickly felt at home surrounded by those who I truly admire and am inspired by. Nerves are completely natural. We are human after all....but I have found that the right people around you can make all the difference 😊 😊 Judge Life: As I've mentioned before, it was an honour to be invited to judge the awards. It filled me with hope reading entries from so many talented cyber professionals. Our industry continues to grow and innovate at a rapid pace...it's so fun to be a part of this and give back. Last year when I won my National Cyber Award....I was actually speechless. I couldn't contain my excitement at the time and that's a feeling everyone should experience. Judging the awards was my way of helping someone else feel how I felt back in September 2025! 🙏 😊 Celebrating our wins in an industry where success can be quiet is not easy...but it is something we must continue to do. Thought I would share that with you all.. Hope you all have a great week ahead! #CyberMan #NHSCyber #NationalCyberAwards C2S Growth Consultancy #DefendAsOne #NationalCyberAwards26 #LinkedIn #ImposterSyndrome
