Aaron Hickey is close to making his long-awaited comeback for Brentford.
The luckless Scotland right-back has been sidelined since October 2023 after sustaining a hamstring injury against Chelsea.
Hickey has been forced to undergo two operations after suffering a setback on his return to training in August 2024.

But Bees boss Thomas Frank has revealed the 22-year-old is now on the verge of ending 18 months of injury hell.
Hickey - a £14million capture from Bologna in 2022 - played an hour for the under-21s side on Monday.
The ex-Hearts starlet assisted Paris Maghoma's goal in a 3-0 win over Barnsley's youth team.

And Frank plans to include the defender in his squad for the Premier League high-flyers' penultimate game against Fulham next week.
Frank said: "He is getting closer. He played 60 minutes for the B Team on Monday.
"He's just short of being in the next squad but hopefully he can be involved in one of the last two games.
"Let's see. It's about building him correctly."
The news will come as a welcome boost to Steve Clarke, who has been depleted of right-back options, with Hickey and Everton's Nathan Patterson both enduring injury torment.
