Synopsis
Drama. The narrative is based on a story by Marcel Proust and centres on the intense love affair between a young couple. Ariane lives with her boyfriend Simon in a Paris apartment, which he shares with his grandmother. Simon is pathologically jealous of Ariane, to the extent of interrogating her every day about her movements. He suspects that she is leading a double life, and eventually asks her to leave. On a drive to the coast Simon decides to try and keep the relationship going, with dramatic consequences.
