Pete Doherty who is currently in a drug rehab program right now, has admitted to lashing out a woman outside a court. The Trudi Barber, a journalist, was kicked in the incident. Pete Doherty has been fined £750; however Doherty said that she was a member of the” harassing scum of press". The attack was apparently recorded on video, which lead to the singer changing his plea to from not guilty.
Sentencing Doherty, Mrs Skinner said: "People in public life have a responsibility to behave and be a good role model to others. "You were obviously courting publicity judging by your somewhat extravagant behaviour outside the court."
Lindsay Lohan, was involved in a car accident, her publicist has confirmed. What she won’t comment on is whether or not the police were called. (Obviously not). Her publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnik said: “She was rear-ended by a member of the paparazzi. She’s fine.”
Apparently she drove some distance before stopping and calling a friend to come a collect her. Apparently it was 2am and a photographer who hit her car.
Reese Witherspoon has filed for divorce after seven years of marriage to Ryan Phillippe, this comes after the announcement a few months ago that they were separating. The couple married in June 1999 and have a seven-year-old daughter and three-year-old son.
Witherspoon is looking for custody of the couples children with Ryan getting visitation rights. She has also asked that her husband be denied spousal support. It’s hard to imagine what went on for this seven year marriage, when she makes these kinds of requests. If they were in love previously and even had two children from the marriage, why can’t they both agree to still both be active parents.

Married for just two years, and a marriage that went downhill from the start seems to be finally coming to an end. Britney who has just had her second son two months ago has filed for divorce. Britney broke the news to the media just a day after her appearance on the David letterman show (see video) and she seems in a good mood. Previous media reports on the stability of their marriage were dismissed by the couple, who even made some public attempts to show their happiness in public.
The legal documents filed, state that Britney wants legal custody of their two children, while allowing her husband visitation rights. Britney had a famous 3 day marriage previously to her best friend in Las Vegas.

Kevin Federline’s lawyer released a statement saying: "Kevin is prepared to go the distance in order to do what he feels is necessary to protect and safeguard the children and will not be intimidated or dissuaded from pursuit of those goals." Last night the supposed rap star performed songs from his new album. After and during the songs he called out to the crowd, saying: "Hey, I see a lot of fine ladies in here. You know I’m a free man, right, ladies? You wanna dance with a pimp? That’s a sexy-ass lady right there." Later he shouted: "All my ladies. I love you to death!" Madonna (48) has spoken to Time magazine over the adoption of a 13 month old child she adopted. She said “What they (people) should care about is that there are over a million orphans in Malawi”
She spoke of the day her arrived: "He arrived at seven o’clock in the morning and the children were getting ready for school. We were all in the kitchen and the door opened, it was just really quiet and my nanny walked in carrying David and the children just ran to him. Lola grabbed him and held him and it was just this strange quiet moment. It was amazing."
It’s all been a strange trip; this whole fiasco seems to have been handled badly by both Madonna and the media. It will be interesting to see what the next move will be.
Rap star Snoop Dogg (real name Calvin Broadus) has handed himself over the authorities, in relation a warrant issued for his arrest, for the possession of a deadly weapon. The charges brought against him relate to a telescopic baton he attempted to carry aboard an airplane at Orange County John Wayne Airport on September 27.
On the date security officers noted a long metal object (which could extend from 8 to 20 inches) in his laptop case while he attempted to board the flight. Snoop as said that he was not aware that it was illegal to take it on a plane. Either that or he though he could get away with it, if he is convicted on the OC charge of felony possession of a deadly weapon, Snoop would face up to three years inside.
E! News reports that Snoop “was booked on the charge (including fingerprinting and the requisite mug shot) and released on $150,000 bail, according to Susan Schroeder of the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.”
His agent Meredith O’Sullivan, issued a statement saying Snoop "welcomes an expedited trial which will reveal that these charges are completely unwarranted."
(UK) Former Big Brother star and current reality TV star Jade Goody, has said she is worried that she may have bowel cancer. However the star will have to wait some time for the results. The Daily Mirror is reporting today that the 25 year old was hospitalised after suffering from crippling pain. She said: "I am worried about bowel cancer but I have to wait three weeks for the test results. I’m young so, hopefully, everything will be OK. But it is worrying."

Actress Angelina Jolie, who is currently in India, filming a new film, ‘A Mighty Heart’, which is based on the life of American journalist Daniel Pearl who was killed in Pakistan in 2002, has visited a refugee camp in New Delhi. The visit is part of her role as ambassador for the United Nations Refugee Agency.
The actress met with refugees from Afghanistan and Burma and after said that she was “grateful to the refugee families who spent time with me and shared their stories."
