Palestinians backed by Hamas intercepted a truck convoy Thursday that was being driven into Gaza from Israel by a Fatah contingent. Six people died in the confrontation. Hamas said Fatah was smuggling in guns; Fatah said the trucks contained generators, medical equipment and tents. In any case, a two-day-old cease-fire between the factions seemed to end.
