Thousands of people each year suffer paraplegia, a paralysis in the lower part of the body caused by damage to the spinal cord.
Our firm's landmark successes include achieving a medical malpractice verdict of $15 million for a man who wound up a paraplegic due to negligent care in a Long Island hospital.
That verdict was the highest medical malpractice verdict at that time vs. Nassau County.
Many people are unaware that such an injury can be a result of medical malpractice or improper medical care.
You have a right to seek compensation for your paraplegia stemming from medical negligence. Money from a lawsuit can help you seek better healthcare and provide for family members.
If you are a New Yorker who is seeking guidance with a negligence legal issue, including paraplegia from medical malpractice, an injury lawyer from Weitz & Luxenberg can help.

Additionally, medical and general care is extremely costly.
If you or someone you love suffered paraplegia as the result of negligence or carelessness, please complete the form below if you believe you have grounds for an injury lawsuit and tell us about your case. This service is completely free.
