LET ME TAKE YOU ON AN ESCAPADE
< June 10, 2011
As the heat wave here in NC continues, so do our plans and preparations for Origins! This year Im going to try driving up instead of flying (the more I fly these days, the more I dislike it), so Jasons had some stuff shipped to me that I can tote along. Should make for an interesting trip. Too bad I cant bring Osiris along so he can check out the dealers room, but hes taking the week off to go to the beach. ;)
Things continue as usual on other fronts. Darrens still working hard on the printer logjam, and I think hes hacked through enough of it that well soon get The HERO System Grimoire off the presses, with other books to follow shortly. All of my efforts these days are focused on The Advanced Players Guide II. Ive finished all the character creation stuff (well, aside from edits, and things Ive thought of to add since then ;) ) and am now working on various combat-related tidbits. By the time you read this I should be well into the new rules for social combat, if all goes as planned.
Heros Summer Convention Schedule
Heres where Heros going to be this convention season:
Origins (June 23-26, Columbus, Ohio): This years Origins marks the 30th anniversary of Champions, which debuted at the con back in 1981. While we dont have anything major planned, well be there in full force, with volunteers running plenty of games, and perhaps well cook up a celebratory surprise or two.
DexCon (July 6-10, Morristown, NJ): Darren will be attending this con to keep the Hero and IPR flags waving in the northeast. Stop by and check it out!
GenCon (August 4-7, Indianapolis, Indiana): The biggest convention event of the year. Were debuting the new Star Hero there, so be sure to come by and get your copy!
And In Conclusion...
...thats the week in review here at Hero Games. Come back in seven for the latest news, updates, and information. ;)
