Saturday 9:30 - noon

In the event of a snow day, the library will be open the non-school hours for that day.

Cinder Slippers and the Grand Ball

Fairytale characters have arrived in Lalaloopsy Land!

Cinder Slippers is hosting Lalaloopsy Land's first-ever fairytale ball, and she insists there is only one way to do it: fancy food, elegant music, perfect manners, and dazzling dresses. When it comes time for the ball, Cinder is surprised that no one is having any fun. Scarlet Riding Hood explains that it's because everyone is afraid of doing something wrong. Scarlet suggests that the party would be more fun if everyone could just be themselves. In the end, it's not the ball Cinder imagined, but everyone's having a great time--even Cinder!

New books featuring favorite characters.

Welcome to the Granton Community Library! We are a combined school and public library. In August of 2012, the Samson Memorial Library moved into the school library. We offer a variety of materials for check out, including books for all age levels, over 30 magazine subscriptions, DVD and VHS movies, a small collection of CD-ROMS, parent resources and a professional library. We are able to receive books though the Inter library loan service. We also have access to Ebsco host for journal articles and other reference materials. We also offer a room for community members to have computer access. We also have an ipad and Kindle Fire that you may use. The library also offers a copy machine and fax machine for the public to use. We want to be your full service library. Stop in and check out what the library has to offer.
