Royal Canin, a company member of Mars Group, has already built more than 11 factories all over the world. The French company launched its first branch in China in 2008 to satisfy the growing demand in the Chinese market.

The new facility has a site area of 55,565 m� and a GFA of 13,359 m�, including office buildings, warehouses, a 40 m hi-tech production tower, utility buildings, waste water treatment, bio-filter, fire pump station with fire water tank and one lab. It is located in the Fengpu Industrial Zone, in Shanghai.

Bencer Construction provided the EPC services and was responsible of all the designing phase, in order to meet local fire fighting and food production requirements, according to the global construction standard of Royal Canin.

Bencer group has worked together with Royal Canin's domestic and overseas process equipment suppliers in order to coordinate the construction and installation process during the whole constriction phase, in order to accomplish the construction schedule.

The construction lasted for 15 month and was completed in December 2009.
