Divergent Paperback Out Tomorrow!

Guess what? The Divergent paperback comes out tomorrow! And I made a video about it:

If you can't watch the video for some reason, what I basically said is:

A. I'm excited!
B. There are two editions: the regular one (identifiable by its orange Goodreads sticker, woohoo!) and the Barnes and Noble exclusive edition (identifiable by its gold sticker).
C. Both editions contain a bunch of cool stuff, including but not limited to a Q&A with me, my Divergent playlist, some quotes that inspired Divergent, a discussion guide, the faction manifestos (which you can also find on the Divergent facebook page), and an excerpt of Insurgent. This excerpt is a little bit longer than the one that was on EW.com a few days ago.
D. The B&N exclusive edition also contains, in addition to those things, an excerpt from the faction history textbook that Tris mentions a few times in the story. It was really fun to write!
E. So, whether you want to just go to a bookstore and have a peek, or recommend it to a friend, or even nab one for yourself, it is out tomorrow! Yay!
F. Did I mention I'm excited?

Insurgent Excerpt, And Other Things

An excerpt from chapter 2 of Insurgent is ONLINE at EntertainmentWeekly.com! If you are not in the "wait for the whole thing" school of thought (which I get), go ahead and check it out. I am both freaked out (because "AHH! I hope they like it!") and really excited (because "AHH! Not long now!"), so I hope you are the latter, not the former, after you read.

If you have a question about the books or me or marshmallows or something, the best place to ask it is here. I sometimes see questions pop up in the comments on old blog posts, and the problem is that I often lose track of which post they belong to because they're so far back, so you likely won't get an answer that way. But I do answer things on tumblr more regularly, and if you ask me to keep it private, I will. Speaking of which, I have to get to work on those tumblr questions...

I'm going to be talking more about the Divergent paperback this week (it's out next week!), but right now I'm just saying: it's out on February 28th, so if you've been pestering your friends/family/coworkers/whoever about reading and they say "eh, I'll wait until it's out in paperback", they are officially out of excuses on Tuesday.
