    黄金のストーリーは賛否両論あったようですが、

    暁月の最後はしっかりと「光の戦士と暁の一旦の区切り」を描写されていたため、

    個人的には新しい冒険のスタート、それに相応しい明るくエネルギッシュなノリ、

    後半はエオルゼア節のきいた思いストーリーと全部詰めで大変楽しめました。

    白銀も楽しみです。

    新生から10年ほぼ途切れず課金を続け、ずっと楽しんできました。

    事前情報での吉田Pの発言[暁月は10年の積み重ねの結末なので、あの衝撃は難しい。黄金はこれからの10年の序章なので］という予防線も受け、期待しすぎないように自分に言い聞かせて楽しみに待っていました。

    メンテナンスが明けると、自分のキャラクターに違和感しかありません。事前のXやフォーラムの炎上ぶりでそれなりに覚悟はしていましたが、棒立ちでも違和感であるのが、いざ動き出すとさらに表情が変。かわいくない、かっこよくない、不自然。

    しかしここでプレイをやめてはフレンドと遊べなくなってしまう。仕方なくプレイを開始。

    新人NPCが主人公のような扱いを受ける横で、気に入らない顔に造形を変えられた自キャラが、自分はもう充分活躍したのだから、新人のために、この先の10年のためには必要なことなのだ、とぎこちない笑顔で頷いています。

    苦痛なムービーと退屈なおつかい、広大なマップを移動して会話とはいえない、このエリアについての教科書を読みきかされている感覚。これを眠気に耐えてなんとか進め、最初のダンジョンに入るまで、2晩跨いで8時間程度かかりました。人と遊べるIDは楽しかったです。

    もう若くない年齢なので、プレイ時間の捻出も難しい。

    このゲームが想定するターゲット層から外れてきたのかもしれません。とても悲しい。

    期待しすぎたのかもしれませんが、覚悟していた以上につまらなく、クリアできるか不安になってきて、引退がチラついています。

    と、SNSではまだしも、ユーザーフィードバックを述べる場である公式フォーラムにすら、不満を書くと、既存ユーザーからは「嫌ならやめろ」「気に入っている人もいるのだから水を差すな」と鼻つまみ者にされる。ユーザー間での軋轢にもなっていて非常につらい状況です。

    嫌ならやめる、確かにそうです。ユーザーの意見表明はそれでしか表しようがないので。

    未クリアのままレビューをすることをお許しください。クリアできて、評価が変われば書き直しにくるかもしれません。

    2024年8/16追記＝＝＝

    クリア後の追記です。

    御都合主義で、筋が通らず、魅力的だったNPCたちは人が変わったような行動をするまたは動かない。暁月までの10年かけて光戦に向いていた矢印が、全て新主人公であるウクラマトに向くような不快感、空気扱いされる屈辱を味わうことができました。

    説得力も没入感も皆無のメインストーリー。ムービーは退屈で寝落ちする。

    また、グラフィックアップデートに疑問しかない写り方であまりに苦痛。このペースでしか進まない薄いプレイ時間を確保しきれないためスキップ多発。

    移動やムービー、楽しみや意義を感じられない会話クエの連続でテンポが悪い。こんなゲーム体験のために課金しているのではない。

    コストカットやチェック不足など、開発力に疑問と心配を感じています。それをごまかすような宣伝や、吉田Pのパフォーマンスはもう見たくありません。

    私にとっては、これまで積み上げた、運営への信用を完全に裏切られたと言うしかない拡張パッチでした。拡張パッチを当てなければこれまで通りのグラフィックで楽しめるのであればよいのですが、性質上そうはいかず、これまでのグラフィック・バランスを崩す＝品質不良を起こしている。

    期待と、フレンドとの交流チケット代としての課金は継続しますが、拡張パッチとして望んだゲーム体験は得られませんでした。

    今後どうか改善されますように。悲しいです。

    7.0～7.01までのメイン、極、Nレイド終了時点でのレビュー。

    簡単に言うと「アクションゲーム」としての評価は高いが、

    「FF14」としての評価、特にストーリーの評価は恐ろしく酷い。

    【ストーリー】

    評価：★☆☆☆☆

    どう語ってもある程度のネタバレになるので言及は控えるが、

    ジャンプ系名作漫画の続編として、なんかよく分からない打ち切り確定の漫画が始まる感じだった。

    ストーリーそのものが特別悪かったというよりも、

    「漆黒」「暁月」と積み重ねてきてこの内容なのが非常によろしくなかったのだと思う。

    「黄金のレガシー」のストーリー単体で別のゲームとして売り出されていれば、

    目立った批判も少なく箸にも棒にもかからない凡作程度の評価を受けていたはず。

    【インスタンスダンジョン（エキ対象含む）】

    評価：★★★★★

    各所を眺めてもこれを非難しているのは大体が所謂「灰色」な人達だった。

    一部では難しいから駄目との声が上がっているが、漆黒・暁月で更に酷いのがあったので何ら問題はない。

    フィジカル避けとギミック避けの塩梅も丁度良く、「どう立ち回るか」を考えさせられて楽しかった。

    【Nレイド・討滅（極含む）】

    評価：★★★★☆

    討滅は「新しいことに挑戦しよう」という気概が見られたが、

    やはり根幹のシステムを変えることは難しかったのか焼き回しという印象が少しあった。

    極武器は覚えゲーのギミック系、

    極アクセはギミック＆フィジカル盛り盛りで歯ごたえもあり、ここの塩梅は非常に丁度良い。

    レイドはノーマル段階で（オレンジ以上を目指すなら）過去最難関。

    ボズヤよりは多少マシだが全体的にフィジカル強めで予習済みでも難しいと感じる人はおそらく多いはず。

    それだけに楽しいのだが。

    【ジョブ関連】

    評価：★★☆☆☆

    敵側に新しいギミックがあるので戦闘中の立ち回りは変わってくるのだが、

    ジョブ単体で見てしまうとレベル100とレベル90でスキル回しがほぼ変わらないので少し退屈。

    レベル100という節目なので他に何かあるだろうという期待感を裏切られたのも大きいか。

    また各種ジョブ調整に関しても、

    普通にプレイしていれば違和感に気が付くであろう部分すらそのまま実装してしまった。

    即時修正はしたのだが、即修正するということはやはり「間違ったまま実装した」ということに他ならない。

    新ジョブを含めたジョブバランスについてはジョブ人口是正の狙いもあるはずなので割愛する。

    【グラフィックアップデート】

    評価：★★☆☆☆

    物体とエフェクトの質感がそれなりに向上し、

    没入感が上昇したのもあってアップデートの試みそのものは良かったと思う。

    が、人物に関しては実装を遅らせ、グラフィックの変更点を慎重に検討すべきだった。

    比較的こだわりに対する影響が少ないであろう男性目線から見た男性キャラですら目元や鼻に違和感がある。

    キャラ関連はある程度適当な自分ですら違和感を抱くレベルなのだから、

    常日頃からSNSでキャラの交流を図っているプレイヤーには相当な衝撃だったと思う。

    【総評】

    評価：★★☆☆☆

    アクションゲームとしては相変わらず楽しいが、「FF14」としては微妙な拡張と言わざるを得なかった。

    また評価を下げている不満点は上記以外にも、

    ・22ジョブ(+α)全てに専用見た目装備が実装されているのにミラプリの枠が未だに20枠しかない。

    ・フィナーレ後、心機一転の新拡張なのに運営都合で封印されたコンテンツがほったらかし。

    　またギルドオーダーとかいうルレ対象の謎コンテンツや、グラカン関連も追加・修正無し。

    ・マウントスピード、Fate回数での解放コンテンツなど、後続ほど辛いシステムの続投

    など、プレイしていると色々ある。

    運営・開発には頑張って欲しいし、頑張りは確かに各所から感じるのだが、

    暁月からのこの路線で続けると失敗の積み重ねでいつか瓦解するのではないかと少し心配。

    とLV100のダンジョンの難易度が難しすぎる気がします。

    エンドコンテンツなら良いかと思いますが。。。

    一回でも死んだらPT全滅確定のヒーラーさんなんてプレッシャーきつすぎるかと。

    完全にライトユーザー切り捨てにかかってます。

    ただ、これメインシナリオだからやらないと先に進めないので苦行でした。

    自分がいない間にグラフィックのアプデがあったようで、これがなにやら不評ぽいですが、、、楽しみたいと思います。
