We've taken ourselves offline on purpose.
This morning a security vulnerability in PHP, the software that runs much of the web, was made public. (You can read about it on The Verge and elsewhere.) As a precaution, we've taken LibraryThing, TinyCat and associated sites and services offline while we investigate, apply and verify all necessary fixes.
This is a preventive step, to keep us safe, not a response to any security event.
