We are proud to share that our Founder Chairman, Dr. Azad Moopen, has been recognized in the Forbes Middle East Sustainability Leaders 2026 list for the second consecutive year, reaffirming Aster DM Healthcare’s commitment to sustainable growth, environmental stewardship, and responsible healthcare practices. This recognition reflects our continued efforts to build a greener future for healthcare through meaningful environmental initiatives and responsible resource management. Key Sustainability Milestones (FY 2024–25): Generated 1,340 MWh of clean energy. Recycled 138,929 kg of hospital waste. Saved 3,183 kilolitres of water across our hospital network. Commissioned an 8.5 MW solar PV plant in Kerala in partnership with U-Solar Clean Energy Solutions, expected to generate over 14 million kWh of renewable energy annually once fully operational. The recognition was celebrated at the 4th Edition of the Forbes Middle East Sustainability Leaders Summit 2026, held on 19–20 October at ADNEC Centre, Abu Dhabi, under the patronage of H.E. As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Aster Hospitals & Clinics, in collaboration with AWR Automotive, is hosting The Breast Health Conversation, a live webinar aimed at raising awareness and encouraging informed discussions around breast health. This World Heart Day 2026, Aster Volunteers brings forth the sixth edition of the Heart to Heart Cares initiative, a month-long campaign running from September 27 to November 1, 2026. Through this impactful initiative, we bring volunteers together to support 50 underprivileged children through free pediatric cardiac surgeries, helping young hearts look forward to a brighter tomorrow. For every 10,000 steps you take in a day, or the equivalent calories burned through your fitness routine, you will earn two hours of volunteering credit. Through your participation, Aster Volunteers will sponsor free cardiac surgeries for children in need. You can also make a difference by nominating an underprivileged child in need of free pediatric cardiac surgery.
