  • Cardinal Health Real-World Data and Evidence is collaborating with Eli Lilly and Company on INSIGHT-IBD, a large-scale study designed to better understand inflammatory bowel disease treatment patterns and outcomes in community care settings.  The three-year study will follow approximately 400 adults receiving care for Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, capturing clinical data and patient perspectives on symptoms, general health and work productivity.  Together, we are working to generate evidence that can help inform clinical decisions and keep patients’ everyday experiences at the center of medical progress: https://bit.ly/4jkGoGf

  • When Julia and Jonathan Thompson welcomed their daughter Eloise at just 25 weeks, they entered a world few parents are prepared to navigate. Born weighing only 14 ounces, Eloise spent 108 days in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Massachusetts General Hospital, fighting through the many physiological challenges of prematurity. One of her most critical developmental hurdles, as with other NICU babies, was learning how to feed. Eloise was the first patient in the NICU to receive therapy with the Cardinal Health™ Kangaroo NTrainer™ System, which is designed to help premature infants develop necessary oral feeding skills. Today, Eloise is a healthy and active toddler, busy exploring and reaching developmental milestones. This Healthcare Supply Chain Week, we're sharing an inside look at the journey of a package – from the moment an order is placed to the delivery to someone’s doorstep – and celebrating the team members behind every delivery: https://bit.ly/4hOc70a

  • Supply chain agility keeps critical products moving when it matters most. From rerouting freight around wildfires and preparing healthcare systems for hurricanes to navigating historic snowfall and rapidly expanding operations during an emergency, our teams are ready to respond. Within our Global Medical Products and Distribution organization, teams led by Benjamin Brinker, President of Global Operations and Supply Chain, and Jeff Porubcansky, President of U.S. Medical Products and Distribution, navigate major disruptions while working to maintain continuity of supply for providers and their patients. During National Healthcare Supply Chain Week, we’re recognizing the resilience of our teams - working together and adapting quickly under pressure - while never losing sight of the people who depend on them.
