  • NOAA Partnership expands U.S. Space Force’s Weather Mission The U.S. Space Force, in partnership with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, has transferred a third geostationary weather satellite under the control of Combat Forces Command’s Mission Delta 2, which is now operational in GEO over the Indian Ocean. “Persistent and accurate weather coverage enables a range of military and humanitarian operations by providing real-time data to the joint force,” said U.S. Space Force Col. Barry Croker, Mission Delta 2 Commander. “By maneuvering NOAA’s residual resources under the USSF, we’re expanding our ability to rapidly assess weather impacts to air, land, and maritime operations at dramatically lower costs to the USSF.” #SemperSupra #SemperVenator

  • Space superiority starts with combat-ready Guardians. CFC recently welcomed The Wall Street Journal for an exclusive look at electromagnetic warfare capabilities Guardians have used to execute critical real-world operations. WSJ reporter Shelby Holliday went behind the scenes in Colorado to see how CFC's warriors are protecting U.S. forces, disrupting adversary capabilities and delivering decisive effects in operations around the globe, including Iran and Venezuela. See how Guardians are bringing combat power to the fight. #SemperSupra #SemperVenator | Lt Gen Greg Gagnon https://lnkd.in/eNpv_xb9

  • Happy Birthday to the US Navy! For more than two centuries, Sailors have stood the watch, defending our nation, protecting freedom of movement and projecting power around the globe. CFC is proud to serve alongside our Navy teammates as part of the Joint Force, delivering the space capabilities warfighters depend on to operate, communicate, navigate and succeed across every domain. • Today, we remember the birthday and enduring legacy of Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker, America’s “Ace of Aces” of World War I. With 26 credited aerial victories, Rickenbacker demonstrated extraordinary courage, skill and determination in the skies over Europe. His service helped shape the proud heritage of American airpower and set a standard of excellence that generations of Airmen and Guardians continue to carry forward. At U.S. Space Force Combat Forces Command, we honor those who came before us by continuing to push boundaries, master our craft and strive for excellence in defense of our nation. Happy birthday to an American airpower legend. #SemperSupra #SemperVenator

  • The road to Fourth Annual Guardian Arena is set! CFC is proud to announce the teams and formations that will represent CFC at Guardian Arena IV this December at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. Guardian Arena brings Guardians and Airmen, military and civilians alike, together from across the force to test the physical, tactical and cognitive skills required to succeed in demanding operational environments. More than a competition, it strengthens readiness, builds warfighting culture and challenges Guardians to perform as cohesive teams under pressure. These Guardians earned their opportunity to represent their formations; now it’s time to see who rises to the challenge. See you at Guardian Arena IV! #SemperSupra #SemperVenator

  • The Defense Support Program constellation, the backbone of the Missile Warning and Tracking enterprise since the 1970s, was officially retired in September during @U.S. Space Command’s Apollo Maneuvers live-fly exercise when the 2nd Space Warning Squadron maneuvered the final two satellites into super synchronous orbit. While the DSP constellation provided uninterrupted service to the joint force alongside the SBIRS constellation, launched in 2011, Mission Delta 4 is preparing to integrate the NGG system into its space-based missile warning and tracking infrastructure. MD4 will continue to strengthen our network of ground- and space-based sensors to defend our nation and protect our joint warfighters against today’s more advanced threats. #SemperSupra #SemperVenator

  • October is #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth! For CFC, cybersecurity is mission essential. Protecting our networks, systems and data helps ensure Guardians can deliver combat-ready space capabilities whenever and wherever the Joint Force needs them. From defending space operations to protecting critical mission systems, cybersecurity strengthens our ability to operate in an increasingly contested domain. Every Guardian plays a role. Protect the mission. Defend the domain. Stay cyber ready. #SemperSupra #SemperVenator

  • Mission Delta 9 owns the U.S. Space Force’s orbital warfare mission! Over 575 Guardians have graduated MD 9’s Orbital Defense Initiation course since 2022, focusing on tactical planning, threat analysis, and space-to-space engagements to mitigate risks to U.S. Allied, and partner interests on orbit in an increasingly contested and congested environment. Achieving space superiority requires uniquely trained forces to deter aggression and protect against any threat to peace in the space domain. Read more about ODIN. #SemperSupra #SemperVenator
