Congratulations to the Cooley patent litigation team that secured a defense win for cloud storage and file-sharing company Box in a long-running dispute over file synchronization technology. The court granted Box summary judgment of noninfringement on the remaining four patents after the Patent Trial and Appeal Board previously invalidated the asserted claims of two other patents, a decision upheld by the Federal Circuit earlier this year. The Cooley team named to the Law.com Litigator of the Week Runners-Up and Shout-Outs list included Heidi Keefe, Lowell Mead, Reuben Chen, Sam Whitt and HanByul Chang.
