A landmark moment for diabetes care. The Dexcom CONNECT Study, now published in The New England Journal of Medicine, provides compelling evidence that continuous glucose monitoring technology can help adults with Type 2 diabetes not using insulin achieve significantly better health outcomes. Today’s publication in one of the world's most prestigious and influential medical journals has the potential to inform clinical guidelines, shape coverage decisions and accelerate changes in how care is delivered. For millions of people living with Type 2 diabetes, this could help redefine the standard of care. Now is the time for physicians, payors and healthcare leaders to expand access so more people can benefit from real-time glucose insights. Read the full announcement here https://lnkd.in/gFZbKtrD

🎙️"There's nobody else that would call me a tech champion but for Dexcom I am because that's how easy it is." For pediatric endocrinologist Dr. Anita Swamy, the impact of CGM goes well beyond the data. In our latest episode of the GlucoseTech Podcast, our host Cher Pastore RD, CDCES had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Anita Swamy about the evolving role of continuous glucose monitoring and how data-driven insights can help both clinicians and people with diabetes make more informed decisions. Listen to us talk about practical ways healthcare providers can integrate CGM into routine care and support quality patient conversations in a busy clinic while Dr. Swamy shares these patient stories. Thank you, Anita, for an engaging discussion and for sharing your expertise! 🎧 Check out the episode here: https://lnkd.in/gDU9HMzt and explore other related resources: - Clinic Workflow resource, developed in partnership with HealthPartners Institute: https://lnkd.in/gJttGKpv - GlucoseTech, HCP-facing website: https://lnkd.in/gvysW4Tn #ContinuousGlucoseMonitoring #CGM #DiabetesCare #Diabetes #HealthcareProfessionals

Last month, Dexcom rode into the Children With Diabetes (CWD) Friends for Life Conference, where our neon saloon set the stage for a week full of connection, community and fun. As the pioneer in continuous glucose monitoring technology, we're always looking for ways to help people blaze their own trails with diabetes. One of our favorite highlights was hearing from Lance Bass, Grammy-nominated pop icon, bestselling author and member of the diabetes community. Through several appearances at the conference, Lance shared his experience of living with Type 1.5 diabetes and reminded us of the power of finding your people. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and shared your stories. See you next year!

This year, Dexcom and Rady Children’s are collaborating to advance our shared commitment to supporting the diabetes and healthcare community. Through educational resources, community engagement opportunities and awareness initiatives focused on diabetes and overall health, our goal is to empower patients, caregivers and the broader community. The collaboration recently came to life when our President and CEO, Jake Leach, visited Rady Children’s alongside San Diego Padres pitcher Michael King and his wife, Sheila King, who lives with Type 1 diabetes. Together, they lead the King of the Hill Foundation. Spending time with patients and families was a meaningful reminder of the impact we can make through shared purpose. We're excited for what's ahead and we look forward to continuing to support children and families across San Diego.
