A drone dock doesn't have to live on a concrete pad. This one rides in the bed of our truck. The AcreWatch Auto station opens, launches, flies the mission, and lands itself. Today it's running off the truck's own power at the edge of a cornfield. On a farm it does the same thing from a permanent pad or our self-contained trailer, with every flight operated and monitored remotely by AcreWatch. For growers, that means scheduled crop passes and prescription files your own equipment can read. For cattle operations, thermal counts without driving the pasture. For autonomy integrators, current field data delivered on a cadence your machines can run on. First deployments are being lined up for the 2027 season. https://lnkd.in/gsifMmrF 937-930-4107 #AcreWatch #AcreWatchAuto #DroneInABox #PrecisionAg #FarmAutonomy

Veteran-owned aerial intelligence for agriculture and energy. Eyes in the sky, decisions on the ground.
About us
AcreWatch (formerly Midwest Drones) is a veteran-owned aerial-intelligence company using autonomous drones, dock-based stations, and skilled pilots to monitor and service the land that feeds and powers the country. Across agriculture, land management, and renewable energy, we deliver crop and field analysis, drone spraying, drainage and water mapping, livestock monitoring, mapping and surveying, search and recovery, and wind and infrastructure inspection. Dock-based autonomy means persistent, scheduled coverage and a true time series, not a one-off flyover. As a proud partner of Vets to Drones, we draw on a nationwide network of 400+ veteran FAA Part 107 operators, and we match every job with secure, NDAA-compliant hardware when you need it. Eyes in the sky. Decisions on the ground.

Introducing the AcreWatch Auto Trailer: Scheduled Field Data for Farms and the Machines That Work Them Walking fields costs time you don't have. Hiring a scout costs money you'd rather keep. And by the time a problem is visible from the road, it's already cost you yield. The AcreWatch Auto Trailer is a fully self-contained drone station with its own power and its own connection. Set it on your property and it flies on schedule, with no electrician, no concrete pad, and no pilot on site. Every flight is operated and monitored remotely by AcreWatch. The drone launches, flies the mission, lands, recharges, and the processed results land in your hands. One unit covers up to 5,000 acres. For farmers: ✅ Catch Problems Early: pass schedule matched to your crop, typically 8 passes per season, so stand issues, weed escapes, disease, and drainage problems show up while they're still cheap to fix ✅ Spend Inputs Where They Count: prescription files your own equipment reads, so you treat the acres that need it instead of the whole field ✅ Know Your Herd Count: thermal cattle counts and locations, including animals bedded under trees, without driving the pasture ✅ Pay for the Season, Not the Year: lease for the growing season or own the unit outright, with AcreWatch handling flights and service either way ✅ Split the Cost: neighboring farms can use the same station and offset the host's lease For autonomy integrators: ✅ Aerial Data on a Schedule: current field maps and prescription files delivered on a cadence your robots, sprayers, and planters can run on ✅ No Site Prep: drops onto any farm with no power or connectivity requirements, so adding aerial data to a deployment doesn't add infrastructure First deployments are being lined up for the 2027 season, and we're talking with growers and autonomy partners who want in early. Across the Midwest, the same ground growing soybeans, produces wind power. Both need regular monitoring, and both are expensive to inspect by truck or on foot. AcreWatch provides drone scouting, application, and automated dock-based monitoring for farms and renewable energy sites. A dock on-site flies scheduled missions, recharges, and delivers the data, which cuts labor and site visits for growers and asset owners. If you manage crop acres or energy assets, we'd like to talk. www.acrewatch.com | 937-930-4107 #Agriculture #RenewableEnergy #WindEnergy #Drones #AgTech #AssetManagement

We built a free tool for the spray drone community, and it is live now. As-applied maps are standard documentation in modern agriculture. Ground rigs generate them automatically through their displays. Spray drones mostly do not, which leaves operators without clean records to hand their farmers for tracking, agronomy, and recordkeeping. As-Applied Maps by AcreWatch closes that gap. Upload DJI Agras flight data and the maps are built from what the drone actually logged, coverage and rates, flight by flight. Any other brand that exports KML or KMZ tracks works too. No logs? Build from a field boundary and the application details. The output is ready for John Deere Operations Center: ISOXML work data and shapefiles, with one-click import onto the farmer’s fields. Files are processed in memory, never saved, and deleted automatically. Free to use at asapplied.acrewatch.com Better records help the operator, the farmer, and the industry. If you run a spray drone operation, try it and tell us what would make it better. #AcreWatch #DroneSpraying #PrecisionAg #AgTech #UAS #VeteranOwned

Long days are part of fungicide season. Acres to cover, tight timing, and conditions that have to line up just right. When it all comes together and the last load goes out as the sun drops, it is a good feeling. This is what the season looks like for our team right now. Careful work, full schedules, and the occasional view that makes you stop for a minute before packing up. If your corn still needs covered this season, we are ready to put in the work. By the time corn reaches tasseling, the yield potential is set. What happens during grain fill over the next several weeks determines how much of it actually makes the bin. Diseases like tar spot and gray leaf spot move fast under the right conditions, and once they take hold, that yield does not come back. A well-timed fungicide application protects the plant when it matters most. The window is short, and the corn is too tall for a ground rig to pass through without damaging the crop. Drone application puts the product exactly where it needs to go. No wheel tracks, no compaction, no waiting on field conditions. Farmers spend all season raising this crop. Protecting it through the finish is why we do what we do. For ranchers running cattle across hundreds or thousands of acres, checking every head, every water source, and every fence line by hand isn’t realistic. Dock-based drones fly the same routes on the schedule you set, counting head, locating strays, and checking water, fence, and pasture conditions, then turning that into information your team can act on. It’s one example of how we monitor and service the land that feeds and powers the country.
